Wow, you were spot on with this one! I was really worried heading into the tournament because it seemed like Baylor lost its touch, but their defense has been very good these past 2 games. Hoping to see a Gonzaga vs Baylor National Championship game!

Wonderful! EJ sets the best screens. JB is elite, as his defense has improved this season. Baylor is the luckiest university in the nation to have Drew as head coach, and his players are equally blessed to be led by him, Tang and the rest of the staff. I agree that the Zags will go undefeated and Baylor may not, but am dying to see that match-up, as most outsiders assume Gonzaga is better because "they look like an NBA team". The highest ranked D they have/will face is # 9 Virginia. They don't have any idea what's coming with BU's D.

I agree. Even against West Virginia Gonzaga looked a bit shaken up due to their physicality. I think Baylor could provide that type of defense with immensely better offensive production to go along with it. Thanks for watching!

Great Video and the truth behind the divisional play is something people tend to not get. Tonight is the night and you've made a clear perfect case aside from you could of emphasized the defense more but then again this video was made with some seasonal play left. What a team this is and loved how you displayed the recruiting and coach detail in this video because I'm sure there is so much that goes into drawing and bringing your talent into your program. Nice video!!! Baylor cut down THEM NETS.

Definitely the whole thing was awesome and not that the shooting wasn't dynamite but one of the coolest things was how Mark Vital showed up in that game from the tone set to the defensive dives on the floor really sick performances.

Who were your top 4 before you whittled down to Baylor and decided to make a video about them specifically? Do you plan on doing another prediction around Jan. of next year?

Good question. Baylor was my preseason pick so I knew I was gonna make a video about them once I picked them. I just really liked their starry to the season and I felt like Gonzaga was getting a disproportionate amount of attention. My top 4 were probably the four 1 seeds (Gonzaga Baylor, Michigan, Illinois). And yes I plan on doing this type of prediction every year.

Appreciate it Johnny! And yeah it's way too early since there is still so much uncertainty with the Draft and the portal. One team I'm keeping my eye on right now though is Alabama. They're going to have one of the deeper guard rotations in the country.

Hahahaha. I will say the Brooklyn Nets, but I'm not even remotely confident in that. I just think if they are clicking and healthy, they have too much firepower. Also I think they have an easier road to the Finals since they are in the East. Don't trust Philly and obviously Milwaukee has had their issues in the postseason. So I'll take Brooklyn for now.

So the question is...did you waiver at all during Baylor's covid slump? Wouldn't blame you if you did, but I sense your study of them probably prevented you from completely dismissing how consistent they were before the 3 week pause.

Great question. The only time I was truly worried about them was in between the Big 12 Tournament and the NCAA Tournament. During the selection show the one team I didn't want Baylor to see was North Carolina, as they are such a great offensive rebounding team and that was one of Baylor's main weaknesses. At the end of the day, though, I just thought Baylor was too dominant during their peak stretches on both ends of the ball and I trusted their backcourt, so I stuck with them.

Major Wuss I think you could make a case for Gonzaga Baylor or Michigan winning it all. Wouldn’t be shocked with any of those 3. Baylor does have me a but worried though.

@@BobbyDouglasBasketball fair, however Gonzaga has had down nights and still comes out on top pretty well. Isn't this what you would expect from a potential undefeated season? Remember, Ayayi and Kispert were on that 2017 National Championship team.
