It's good to see there are at least a few guys out there that bought wax in the past and the pack ripping addiction didn't overtake them and allowed them to keep it sealed. I can respect that self-discipline, few in the hobby have it.

If you’re into the collecting cardboard this is the show for you. Ridiculous product in that house. I love that shirt with the quote from Max Muncy after hitting a HR off of Bumgarner in McCovey Cove. Good luck selling all of that. You should get sponsored by UHaul. 😂

As someone who’s just getting back into the card collecting game who’s not a multimillionaire it’s very hard to open much besides retail. Still have fun with the smaller packs, but I remember when every store used to sell almost every brand of cards. Now it’s almost nonexistent besides Walmart and target

lol this guy cracks me up😂 “I feel bad bc all the young guys are priced out, they can’t afford it & it sucks”… meanwhile he’s got a full guest bedroom stacked to the ceiling with sealed stuff. Ppl like him are the reason the prices are so high. Having his friends and family buying out entire shelves in a bunch of different states.

The issue was getting the insurance to cover it. Would you want some guy to drive all your high end wax out of your driveway with no assurance of getting money back?

New sub here. I’ve watched half a dozen episodes, and really enjoy taking the journey with you, and your partners, as you travel across the states to acquire some of the most epic cards in the hobby. All these wax boxes absolutely blows my mind. Kudos to the man in the video, who was able to amass such an impressive collection, without opening them.

The wax guy is 100% correct, watching this as someone that got into the hobby in 2012(nt bkb break) i absolutely loved it and the community, I use to go on blowout by literally 20 mid end hobby boxes for $3,000 max... Now that's A BOX ... I remember getting a 2012/13 NT box for $1600... Chasing kyrie, Davis double rc class.

I remember when cards were those prices when I got back into collecting. I was buying bunches of blasters from Walmart website of 2018-19....prizm, threads basketball....2017 prizm football..all for $20 each. Wish I had kept some of that stuff unopened. Obviously wasn't hobby and fotl like this stuff but still could've made a crazy profit had I kept it sealed.

Wish I kept all the 18-19 retail n hobby basketball boxes I opened man I mean it's hard to not open em up plus I did pull 6-8 grand roughly out of prizm including a purple wave luka Rc, a red white n blue luka, a green Trae, I bought an absolute n pulled a draft day ink level II /25 Trae Young Sig full auto on card!!! Lost my shit cuz thats my guy n I've been a hawks fan since the Joe Johnson n Josh Smith days!! Had alot of duds but had fun opening it all!! Prizm n optic were in stock n Wal-Mart would always have it then the surge came and we couldn't find anything which made prices go loco!! Would of made alot more keeping all the boxes I opened sealed like Select hobby, chronicles, absolute, hoops, optic, crown royale, court kings, and tons of revolution!!! Not to mention a bunch of 2017 boxes!! I saved all the hobby boxes n most the retail as well n I look at all of it and a single tear falls down my face lol!!

I can't agree with Randy more about the greedy card companies especially panini are pushing the average collectors out of the market because it's almost impossible to make your money back on anything sealed in today's market. Yes it's a sad day for the sports card world!
