My mom told me the exact same thing 2 days ago lol but it seems like it was just a very happy marriage so I'm unsure they'd been through enough "trials" to get a plot. Who knows, though? Writers have a way of surprising us

I don't know if I can handle another sad love story after Queen Charlotte but I think Shonda said she wanted to tell Violet & Edmund's story Edit: Actually it would be cool if they do flash forwards to the present like in Queen Charlotte and it shows Violet finding love again while telling her story with Edmund

@@toriholmes1923 I actually think that it would be Benedict's next. And I called it that John would be introduced this season so maybe in season 4 he would maybe die at the end or something. Season 5 would be Francesca and that would also be the time where there are glimpses of Eloise writing letters and such, getting ready for her season

she was in a show called ‘in the flesh’ where her character’s style is much closer to her own and i didn’t even realize she was playing a featherington until this year bcs she looks SO different!

It’s going to be Francesca as far as I can tell, she’s been the only one to meet her book partner (so far) that might change in the last four episodes & honestly I don’t know how they’re going to do it considering Francesca’s first husband dies… Edit: it’s totally possible that Benedict meets Sophie in the last four episodes possibly through the widow he is diddling with now or that word of Marina’s death reaches Bridgerton house. I was just giving my thoughts on what I’ve seen thus far.

I think maybe that's why they introduced him in this story. I think Francesca's first marriage will be told as a by the way in other stories (maybe as early as s3 p2). But then when it'll be her season to be the main lead it'll start where the book does - 4 years after he passes...

@ssun6995 agreed, I think her first husband will be on the side of other characters' stories. Otherwise she'd end up with 2 seasons. Her book is around her relationship with Micheal.

Uh no she's married to John for 2 years before he dies and in her story it's with Micheal who we haven't met yet. So it's definitely not Francesca next.

@@toriholmes1923 My point was John is Francesca’s introduction to her love interest (I read the books, I know who she ends up with) my point was Benedict hasn’t met his masked love and we haven’t seen Eloise write to Sir Phillip. Gregory and Hyacinth are still too young, so the logical conclusion is Francesca’s story is next but I did say that that could change since we haven’t seen the last four episodes yet.

@@KHicks697they didn't introduce Kate until s2 either so introducing john doesn't mean anything imo. Even if she gets married in s3 it doesn't give enough time to show her in love and mourning.. or at least mention it. I think more likely the next story will not be Francesca but maybe Benedict (as he's getting old so the story needs to be told) and during his story/s4 we'll see/hear about Francesca being in morning and then s5 will be about her. Another reason I think it's Benedict is cos of the order of the books... They skipped him so most likely will come back to him now

Let’s all get on the same page. They are going to make hundreds of the shows if they keep doing well and making money so I think they found a real winner and I think we probably have a very long term anchor show with tons of shows off shooting from it so I think this is gonna be really fun.

Exactly what I'm thinking. The problem most series have is that they have one big plot and certain main characters. And if that is told, it's done. They often drag it out, get brand new characters but nobody wants to see them. But here we have different main characters every season, but still never brand new ones, always characters you already _want_ to see. And with that, always a different story. It's the same theme and genre but always different. Endless possibilities and plots, it's actually brilliant.

@@L-tb9kk Yes, that's partly true. But I meant the sibling the season is focusing on. Season 1 it was Daphne, season 2 Anthony, season 3 Colin, etc. Of course their partners are and will be often new characters but the siblings are the same.

I think that season 4 will be Benedict's season because if you've read the books you'll notice that at the end of the last episode of season 3 Benedict talks about the masquerade ball where he's supposed to meet Sophie, his love interest. And also I think that season 4 will be mainly centred on Benedict and his love store and in the background will be the love story of Eloise because at the end of the episode at the end of season 3 when Benedict talks about the masquerade ball Eloise tells him that she can come back right after if I've understood correctly. Well that's what I think but maybe I could be wrong as the season is normally supposed to be Benedict's season and not Colin's if you follow the books.
