Mal would be scared but his instant instinct would be to protect Alina, who would be scared but better at hiding it and pushing forward. Even though they wouldn't touch each other, Kaz would be looking out for Inej and being her little secret guardian angel 🥺 and Inej would be instantly ready to fight but always watching Kaz's back. And Nina would just laugh.
