okay I listened to 6min of this. Why didn't the 90 year old man ask the cleaning woman to go home instead of standing outside. And why had did the bachur not know the talmudic saying the greater the tzaddik the greater the yetzer hara. And why didn't the rabbi hire a cleaner that wouldn't make him go crazy, like one that was very overweight or a guy. And why if the rabbi was outside, didn't he wear enough clothes that he was warm, so, dressing for the weather. And if the rabbi that stood outside didn't want to make the bachur feel imprisoned, then why behave in such a way that now the bachur will be terrified of leaving him alone in the house incase he does something like that again! (now the bachur will feel even more imprisoned). I actually believe this story happened, only that the rabbi and the cleaning lady were not quite so old.

You are not doing anything good for victims by doing this. Next time no one will believe victims,legitimately. There is a reason Torah and civil law tell us to have a fair trial.

sorry but this whole story stinks. Something doesn't add up and even more so because everyone is actually displaying an energy of hate in the name of love. It's good that people are talking about issues in the community. I hope systems and actions are put into place to make sure every child, woman, and soul is safe from predators. That being said, the Zohar calls this world alma deshikra the world of lies, which means ALMOST nothing is what it seems. ESPECIALLY because as someone with a background in psychology and who works in marketing, this smacks of a coordinated media campaign rather than an organic unification with a common goal. Pointing this out isn't discounting victims, it's trying to make sense of the truth. Make a birur at a time where everything is murky, especially what we see in the media. Food for thought.

@@thesantiagoprince1 Firstly, I do appreciate the kind and civil tone you are taking with me, it's not always present in this conversation. Second, I honesty had no emotional connection to this person. Didn't read his books or anything like that. I've just been around long enough to know when something doesn't pass the smell test. I'm not saying he is innocent. I'm not saying he is guilty I'm saying there is something off here with how this story broke, the people behind it, how the beit din went down, coordinated social media frenzy and so on. It's ok if you don't agree. As my dad says, that's what makes horse races.

Fully agree, I have witnessed myself a similar story with a popular person that almost everyone claimed he’s innocent when he was not and then a other story where it was complete opposite.. so I stay skeptical . And I educate my kids and try to keep them safe . It’s a confusing world

I agree. So far there has been zero evidence. The Beis Din never heard his side. There are many questions but I’ll ask just a few, if there was a shred of real evidence, we would see it or hear it, no videos, no proof zero. How can one believe such a story and destroy a person without evidence? How can there be evidence if you didn’t listen to the one accused? Why was this case brought and judged on social media? Why are certain people speaking to the media ? There are to many unanswered questions and I cannot believe the stuff the media is throwing out. At the end of the day, one needs solid proof, and I don’t see it.
