You just need to heal the one taking damage. Healer can easily outheal that incoming damage for 3-4 casts. What could possibly go wrong ? Healer isn't reactive at all.

It chained from the tank to the owl pet to melee running towards the boss to the ranged group. @@Unavenged Would have been easily avoided if the ranged were farther from where the melee were fighting the snakes.

at least prior to level 50. but yea dungeons are too risky with randoms. especially pre lvl 30 randoms

Thats such a risky way to do that pull though to just rely and noone connecting the groups. Instead just dont stack ranged, then you dont need every melee/pet to position perfect. Spread and live even if the chain goes out, its a trivial mechanic if you position right.

I don't know the range of the beam (never had it go off, lol), but pretty sure that huntard pet zooming in at 9:07 is what did them in by bridging the chain. Auto-pet attack macro or some shit and it directed it to Venoxis. It could have been a lack of mechanical awareness but it doesn't look like it to me. He could have went in too early with pet but either way, huntard screwed up and it cost them dearly.

@@holyflygon Oh, he woulda been almost dead, if he lived, but pre-HC I was always doing long jumps on toons, and when achieves came out I was always looking for spots to do the fall achieve so I'm just basing my guess on that experience. I have to admit that the screen being blocked may be throwing me off, but my guess is road = dead, but on that hill, I think he would've had a couple hit points left. Funny story, one of the guys I knew who had been playing longer than me, I made toon on his server horde side. Me and him were grouped, I think his druid was forty something, I think my undead rogue was lvl 6. We take the zep to org, he jumps off, I jump off of after him, and he was surprised I lived. He didn't know fall damage was % based. IIRC, there was a HC druid dismount a while back where a druid did get dismounted and switched to cat before landing to live.

Heaps of people do this, and it's a pet peeve of mine. Proc stands for Periodic Random Occurrence, meaning that an On-Use trinket isn't a proc "I just procced my ToEP". A poison tick isn't a proc. People use it incorrectly so often. Weapons like Ironfoe, Sulfuras, Thunderfury and Drake Talon Cleaver a proc. Trinkets like Hand of Justice, Mark of the Chosen and Heart of Wyrmthalak have a proc. Not the biggest deal in the world, but words mean certain things and you're just going to cause confusion if you use 'proc' for any item effect in-game.

You can't really blame the hunter for FD in this situation, he wasn't the one that caused it and everyone was already dead when he used it. But yeah as a group someone should have known the sides will pull with the boss. A rat would have been running for the door the moment the boss was pulled without the sides cleared.

I rolled a rogue expecting to be grouped with players that will panic and cause a wipe. I wanted a guaranteed escape from dumbasses. I’m also not the type to just bail early, especially knowing I can at anytime. What’s so bad about a rogue like that

@@gregg9725 Because a lot of rogues vanish way before they have to and stop contributing to a wipe prevention. Hunters are worse though, because they cause more wipes with bad pet management + they get to survive. I personally wouldn't want to group with a rogue or hunter. The stakes are not the same for them at all, its like they get to play a lite version of HC. So they are playing a cheese version on top of the fact that cheese will cause them to abandon the group at the time you need everyone on deck. I've watched so many of these clips where the group wipe or a death could have been prevented simply if the hunter or rogue used one of their other abilities that didn't just eject them from the encounter.

They might have physical disabilities or something. I still click on less important abilities (like buffs, situational stuff ) and keybind rotation

@@alihorda guy with hand disabilities here, I find it way more comfortable and 'easier' to use shift/ctrl/alt modifiers and keybinds for everything than moving my mouse around to click. I never run out of keybinds since I use 1 to = with shift, ctrl, alt, as well as the letter keys surrounding WAD with modifiers.

@@h.a.l.3980 You can't be clicking your abilities while healing, even if you can get away with it on DPS (while still being very inefficient) it's not feasible for a healer to be clicking between a player on the raid frames and their heal button back and forth for every heal, especially not if it's a high APM healer like WoTLK Resto Druid or Disc Priest.
