Throwing it back to 2022 during our trip to Ballina, Ireland. ‪@RandySantel‬ and I visited The Lantern Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway to tackle their infamous Dry, Hot & Spicy Challenge. Brave diners must sign a waiver before they get to try to finish a bowl each of hot chips, chicken, and wings in under 30 minutes in order to win their 29 Euro meal for free and a spot up on the wall of fame. At the time, I honestly didn't think this would make for an entertaining video. I recently discovered it while going through old files, rewatched it, and instantly changed my mind. Hope you all enjoy this throwback!

Hey everyone thanks for watching this throwback! Hope y’all found it as hilarious as I did😂 A special note, since this seems to be a common mention. The 4Loko I referred to being “illegal” was the OLD formula with loads of caffeine. Showing my age here.. So when you buy it now, in the states, you are getting a different formula with NO caffeine. You little rascals really like your beverages. Good on ya! 😂 cheers! 🍻

THIS is hilarious, and I don’t mean it in a meanie way. Katina, although you didn’t finish, mad props for even considering it after a night of boozing. I’m a fan of spicing but when I saw that deep red in the bowl, I thought “oww hells to the no”. Still, brave to even try.

I commend you stuck it out as I wouldn't got passed the first bite. Just remembered you are a very strong person and very kind. You give all your eating contests 120% just one blip you can always go back later and try it again. Just not tomorrow. Hold your head up high you deserve it. X

I've been watching you for a while now. Thank you for sharing this video. There's nothing to be ashamed of! Crazy challenge and honestly - quite dangerous. I would've tapped out after first bite, I don't do spicy food at all. I don't even use pepper on my food. Watching it all was a bit disturbing to me though. The people around you, including Randy, kept cheering on and I get it, it's nice to have support and you're not a quitter. But honestly, I could clearly see how much you're struggling and if I were there, I would've asked if you were OK like a thousand times and probably suggested you to stop earlier.

I love watching your videos while I eat, especially after work! Not sure exactly why that is but it makes me feel good. I think it’s nice seeing a woman “allowing” herself to eat such large amounts in good and still look so good. Growing up I always believed that a woman should eat less than a man and if she eats a lot that means she doesn’t have self control. I know all of this isn’t true it’s simply my disordered thinking. Anyways, love your videos and your relationship with Randy is so beautiful
