I know this comment is old but theres a youtuber names optinoob. He makes platinum guides and one of them is "dead space remake impossible mode no damage" you can follow it without doing the no damage part unless you want the challenge.

I also did the plasma cutter impossible run. Got it first try no doubt because I had experience with original game. If u just mainly stick to stasis stomps and kinesis you should come out with roughly 200 plasma cutter ammo by the end of first trip to medical.

It’s a lot easier with the flame thrower for small enemies but yes plasma cutter still carries you to the end

It’s from the OG game as well. Late advice, but you can melee objects with blue glowy ends and use blades from defeated enemies as kinesis weapons.

I'm honest, in the beginning of the video i really thought you would throw it because of the many struggles It's so much harder to do the impossible difficulty on your first run when you don't know the spawns or the levels well enough and are not used to the mechanics as well as you would be on the second or third run But in the end you made it and it motivated me to do so too

I haven't started my impossible run yet, but I'm doing a New Game + run on Hard Mode using just the Plasma Cutter. To conserve my ammo, I've just been using stasis, punching enemies to knock them down thanks to that upgrade to the suit, and just stomping them. I'd actually say I'm rarely using the gun and I have so much ammo it's hilarious, this entire run has just been hugely funny to me and I've yet to die halfway through.

I noticed that ammo is plentiful in most areas of the game honestly. There’s really just one or two chapters that ammo is scarce.

Awesome video! Little late for the tip lol but if you didn't pick up any other weapons during the playthru then the only ammo that would have spawned would be plasma cutter ammo, helping out a lot in the long run

I actually put every weapon in storage ASAP for this same reason! I didn’t use a guide on collectibles or where guns were so I just found them along the way and put them in storage

Absolutely love your videos! I personally don't like how you break down the whole story of the game for each trophy. I usually just fast forward through that part. Watching more for the completionist process than caring about the games story. In general love your content! I will also be watching and liking all your videos!

Noted! Thank you for the feedback. I found in general people want to know what’s going on, but I can cut a bit of that to make it more general. I cut all the monotonous trophies out, there’s a ton I didn’t show like picking up logs or stomping enemies 😂 I appreciate your support!

@@3PointGaming just as a counterpoint, I really enjoy hearing the story breakdown. Having never played dead space, it was pretty nice to have some breakdown of what was actually going on. Likewise for games I do enjoy (like cyberpunk which was the first video of yours I found) it’s nice to sort of hear your thoughts and if you’re enjoying what you’re playing.

I'll most likely buy this game as soon as it drops in price/ I can spend some money. I never played the original one, but I did complete Dead Space 2, both on Zealot and Hardcore (If I'm not mistaken I only died once). How much tougher is this on Impossible + Plasma Cutter only? I remember in DS2 Hardcore I mainly used the Plasma Cutter, the Ripper and sometimes the Mine gun. Congrats for your Platinum by the way :)

I played hard first time through to get a feel for it and start to learn spawns with only the plasma cutter. Then played new game plus to finish the rest of the trophies and alt ending. Then started impossible played it with plasma cutter only and it was a cake walk.

Nope. if you don’t do impossible first, then you have to do 3 playthroughs because NG+ on impossible is not an option until you beat a normal save fight on impossible

I had to cheese near the end. I got into the cargo bay and not a single enemy does ammo of any kind. Then i watched the replay and all the ammo fell through the floor as soon as it dropped. Quitting and loading did nothing. So i cheese the line racks at the bench until I had a reasonable amount of ammo, like the amount I should have had if the game didn't hate me

It's too late but if you return to Main Menu before you die it goes back to your last save point... It doesn't revert you to Hard and you don't have to start from the beginning of the game

Maybe I missed it, but why didn't/couldn't you do Impossible mode with any gun (to make that easier) and then New Game+ can be on any difficulty, so can do that on the easiest difficulty with the plasma cutter?

NG+ and Impossible can’t be done at the same time because you can only do NG+ on impossible if you did impossible already. Either way, the plasma cutter is the best weapon so it’s okay!

You can’t do NG+ on impossible unless you beat the regular game on impossible first

They actually use “nodes” which are found around the map. I sold a lot of stuff to buy extra nodes as well as soon as I could. I can’t die if I beat the enemies first!!!! Lol

I’m so disappointed this games next gen only : / I never got to play the original dead space and all I hear is praise for it so I was really excited for this game but only learnt it’s ps5 ( and others ) only the day before it came out I play on ps4 😭

Why didn’t you utilize the spikes or necromorphs limbs with kinesis? That saved me so much time/headache. I know I’m a year late but still.

This is the best dead space remake video ever. I don’t wanna see tips and tricks for the billionth time I wanna see you react to your hilarious deaths thanks so much. But it isn’t BRUTAL like In the title if you cheese the whole game.

Is this genuine? At 6:42 it drops ammo that isn't for the plasma cutter. The game only drops ammo for the weapons that you have picked up.

I picked up every weapon along the way. You get the trophy as long as you don’t fire any other weapons. In that clip, I believe the ripper was in my inventory

I wanted to suggest a game you should platinum on, and I think you should platinum Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. It’s a really good game, and the sequel is coming out in March, so I didn’t know if you wanted to play the game

I hate devs that lock platinum behind shite like difficulty modes. I want the platinum but I don't hate myself or life that bad. Just give an awesome reward, not lock a trophy behind it.

You’re lucky you don’t get through 75% of the game twice on impossible difficulty only for the game to break on you and you have to restart all over again. Because. Thankfully I got through it the third time with no bugs.

I think yesterday you did a hogwarts Lecacy stream and you talked about it takes two that you did not get a trophy for reaching chapter two is because the only story trophy is for beating the game
