To "SUPER" beginners!! This video was made to relieve the frustration that Korean learners feel when they start learning Korean since their language and Korean are different. On the other hand, I was worried that learners would be scared in advance after watching this. Despite those worries, I uploaded it because I thought it could be helpful for someone. To help you understand, I also showed some example sentences, but you don't need to remember them all. I really hope this video is helpful~!! But if this video scares you before you learn, look at the summary below. And watch this video later. (at least after you've mastered Korean alphabet.) Don't stress out even if this is also hard to understand. You can see it again later.☺ ✏ 1. Word Order -Verb comes at the end. (subject+object+verb) -Modifiers(adjectives, adverbs) come before Nouns or Verbs. -Preposition comes after Noun. (so, it’s postposition) -Auxiliary verb(can, must...) is attached to the verb stem. -When making a question form, only raising the intonation of sentence ending. (no changing the sentence order) 2. Grammatical Features -Verbs, Adjectives, and Noun+이다 can be predicates(in verb position). -Particles(markers) are attached to the nouns to express subject, object and etc. -Sentence endings change in various forms (to express tense, mood...) -Verb does not change depending on the subject. 3. Other Features -No gender, no specific tone in Korean words. -Sentence order is flexible. (verb always at the end of the sentence) -In spoken Korean, subject and particles can be omitted. -Lots of words from English, lots of words originated in China(Sino-Korean). -There is Honorific system in Korean language.

May I ask a question? In korean some consonants sound differently different times , not as we learn in the basic alphabet chart .Why & when they changes ?Any rules regarding this? Thank you.
@simple-korean

@@nilufarpanna1110 All languages have the sound change rules. Similarly, in Korean, there are rules for sounds that change depending on the situation. There is a list of pronunciation rules from my videos. If you look at them one by one and understand them, you will be able to understand why one consonant is pronounced so differently. Thank you!🥰

This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for and it’s all in one video - perfect! I’d like it one more time if I could. And it doesn’t seem scary or anything at all, vice versa it’s very helpful as it gave me the overview of the language, I can kind of see “the basic lines” now and start self-studying Korean.

At the beginning I found it inaccessible and felt hopeless too. But South Korea now a days draws Asian' attention for its growth & new rising in many sectors . I thought it is very much worth giving a try . And there are many types of answer vlogs served everyday to many questions that inquisitive learners want to ask.Thank you so much.

Coming to Korea and living here can be challenging and a little tough, but it can also be a great opportunity to change your life. I've met people whose lives have improved significantly after coming to Korea, so I can tell you to give it a try!!! Although it may not be a perfect experience for everyone, I believe it's definitely worth trying. Nowadays, there are many helpful KZfaq channels and resources available, just like you mentioned. I hope you have the courage to come to Korea, and I'll be cheering you on.🥰
