I'm perfectly happy in my 21 fully loaded 5.7 daytona. I pay $400/m with 5% rate CU. With stellar credit I could have gotten anything I wanted. There's NO WAY I'd pay more than $500/m for ANY car. I always prepare for a downturn in the economy on ANYTHING I'm purchasing to make sure I'm right side up and comfortable with the payments either way. People dumb trying to keep up with the joneses

I bought my 2016 scat challenger white w red interior manual in 2021 w 27k miles for 36k. She got 36k now on the odometer and I put alot of quality work into her. I pay $575 a month and til August of 25 and I’m done. I’m good on an upgrade. I’m not paying 1k for 72 months for a hellcat hell no!

392’s in general are a rip off when bought new. I paid 33k otd for my old one in late 2019. Was a B5 blue 2018 so it had CarPlay, cooled seats, beats audio, sunroof, and lightweight wheels with 22k miles and 1 owner/clean history. That is when they’re worth it. Paid $325 a month on it. A widebody with the good options is worth 45-48k max. But they also don’t have full leather option or the nicer srt steering wheel. Seeing them listed for 70k is absolutely ridiculous. Also given the rate of MDS reliability and the fact they lose to their competitors. Not worth buying unless you get the absolute right deal with a good warranty.

I bought my 19 challenger hellcat redeye in July 21 2021 for 68k out the door.....at 6% but put 40k down so payments were reasonable.....vehicle was 1 owner and a doctor ..all original and he traded in for a hellcat durango because wife was pregnant with twins...vehicle still had stickers on it...dealers til this day want me to trade in but I've seen all of the problems with 22,23 models and mine is paid off....plus I'm modified for 1000hp.

I bought my scat Challenger last year. It was a 2017 with 11000 miles on it; one owner. Mostly a garage car... obviously. Yesterday, I got a call from the dealership letting me know that I could trade it in for a new one and they would knock off $10k off of the price. I said nope and hung up. I don't think the cost of the car and the cost of the maintenance is worth owning one. Are they fun to drive? Absolutely. Would I do it all over again? Nope.

To be an "auto enthusiasts" you DO NOT have to be a mechanic, anyone who says otherwise is full of crap. My weekend time is too important to waste time playing "grease monkey" and do maintenance on my vehicles. If your a mechanic or have good auto mechanical skills and the garage and tools to do your own work then good for you but don't preach that an auto enthusiasts and an auto mechanic are mutual requirements. I have a good income and practice good financial sense to have the resources to pay others more qualified do the "mechanical" work. This gives me the time I need for driving and enjoying my vehicles.

Smart man not falling for the dealership games , would have had to stretch your terms and probably put you in a worse spot. Grabbed a Challenger Scat with plus package, HK system and sun roof for $43,125 brand new. Took 1 month of constant negotiations with dealers until I found one. Had to drive 4 hours away but worth it. Have to be patient and smart in todays car buying game for sure

Most don’t include TTL in OTD because it varies by state but OTD is vehicle price itself in most cases which is what a buyer really looks at since that is variable and not fixed like TTL

How are the new Mustang GT sales?….my local dealer has like 7 GT’s and 2 dark horses that have been there for weeks…I was looking for a V8 manual to replace my sold almost two years ago widebody scatpack challenger shaker manual….i drove a 24 GT with the recaro seats. I hated it lol…the other GT’s with the regular seats were buried in by to many other cars. And the GT lacked the low end torque that my challenger had…the manual transmission wasn’t bad…but overall IMO…the car is WAY overpriced

I'm just going to buy a 2015 or later and add the wide body kit to it I still will come out on top and not to mention all the issues that the 2023 models are having right now I'm good on them you would think that how long these 2023 models have been sitting on lots all over the US that dealers would be giving OUTRAGEOUS deals to reduce inventory but stubbornness and greed for the cars wasting away and dealers losing money I blame everything on stellantis they are the reason why these vehicles are not selling
