Justin Herbert is pretty much already an anime protagonist. He's got many tools in size, athleticism, and arm strength but was really underestimated until he got his shot. It also helps that his personality seems pretty reserved but he's just as competitive on the field as the rest.

I'm a Seahawks fan in eastern Washington, which has a large secondary market of Raiders and Broncos fans. But as a lifelong anime fan, this has solidified the Chargers as my pony in the AFC West race - and NO, I'm totally not still bitter about the Russell Wilson trade.

You didn't lose any major players on defense and you hired a DC familiar with Fangio's scheme, so there shouldn't be much of a drop-off on that side of the ball; as long as Russ doesn't have/try to play too much hero ball, you should be golden, which you're gonna have to be to keep pace with the rest of the AFC West. The division looks like it's gonna be a bloodbath this year.
