I'm so glad you went and visited Imlil. The region was unfortunately scarred by the tragedy that happened there recently, so I'm glad to see visitors coming back and showing how beautiful it is and how friendly and welcoming the people are. Hope you had a great time.

We did not know that anything happened in Imlil recently. Hopefully it was not too bad. Unfortunately the bad people tend to be the loudest, but there are always more good people.

I've always wanted to do one of the equestrian vacations in Morocco. Tho the shortest one I could find was 5 days but it'd be so worth it. They have some awesome horses.

We spent a long time window shopping at those desert horse expeditions 😂 They are (understandably) pricey but they do look incredible.

What’d you think of the hike? We were really surprised at how green that whole canyon/valley was!

@@OnePackWanderers the hike to the waterfall was alright but the dirt road to the other towns was really pretty. Would have loved to reach the top of Toubkal, maybe one day. It looked like it was going to rain so I left early...and getting caught in the deluge in the mountains would have been really scary!

Agreed on that. The dirt road was the best part. And yea definitely would not want to be caught in the rain up there. It looks like a place that would flood very easily.

The whole time I kept thinking how many and how bright the stars must be at night in that valley. The contrast of the arid plains and rushing water in the mountains was very cool. Perfect music selection!

I think it's 5 times a day, starting at dawn and then the last one is at sunset. Not 100% sure on that though 😅 Morocco was a wonderful, chaotic experience for sure. Really interesting country!

Still ,its really cheap ! I used to work for a traveling agency in Marrakeche and we charge 20$ just to get you from wherever you staying to the airport.

Crimes are all over the world, no place is safe 100%, the rate of crimes in morocco are one of the lowest in the world, the police and the security are doing their best to keep the country safe...we dont say to the jews becarefull in Germany 6million were killed there..and germany is also one of safest country in Europe
