BlazBlue: Central Fiction (BBCF) is the fourth entry in the BlazBlue series. This is the last game to feature Ragna the Bloodedge as the protaganist, while also introducing new characters to the franchise, including Hibiki Kohaku, Naoto Kurogana, and Es. Developed by Arc System Works (ArcSys), this game is playable on the Playstation 3 (PS3), Playstation 4 (PS4), Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). Alongside its latter entry BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, an update is planned to include Rollback Netcode in February 2022.

Man, that last match was freaking amazingly crazy lol. I need to go and get me a better computer/laptop so I can start playing Blazeblue again. My little chromebook wouldn't be able to run this game at all

The thing about this game that stands out to me (aside from, you know, everything about it), is that the damage seems just about right. The rate at which the health bars go down seems slow enough to require at least two and usually more offensive pushes per game. So, a good back and forth game is going to have something like four to over a dozen swings in momentum even with very oppressive combos. That makes each game super interesting because you can really see plans unfold and change, and single mistakes aren't instant death like in Guilty Gear. There's room for both, and both seem well-designed to their type of playstyles. The depth of BB play, and the fact that there's enough time to watch it play out, really impresses me, though.

i'm getting into blazblue for the first time since continuum shift and i'm getting smoked but having a blast doing so, and i'm loving the BB content. strive is fun to play and watch but this is a nice addition for sure

I have played every Blazblue game for a while but never really played Online until very recently because every time I wanted to play the game was dead. Good to see that I can finally play again and I might choose someone I don't have experience with and try and learn em. In CF Izayoi was my girl but I might pick up Tager or finally go into the dark side and play a one of the units because playing against them was hell for me XD especially No.13

God, I love this game. Situations come up that I've never seen before so much more frequently than most other fighting games I've played. And having so many options gives you so much more potential to be completely degenerate.

For everybody talking about how hype the last round was welcome to spectating blaze blue this game is all about option selects and pressure/combo resets The way you can bait wake up options and the fact that the moves have attack types such as head body and foot property set the pressure and decision making far far apart from guilty gear.

Watching Tager compared to Xrd Pot made me wonder why Pot was even in the fucking game. Granted Tager has been pretty awful in the past from what I understand, but Tager always seems in control compared to Pot who is crouching in the corner going "p-please let me pot buster you.. just once so I can feel like I got to play".

Grapplers are hated because the play style rewards patience. A defensive grappler with perfect execution on combos seem to just destroy noobs.

theyre hated because they do the same damage with a single move that others do with long combos, generally they just take less skill

I think its the any big and slow characters in any game, Either they are worst or the best depends on timing and executions which their way playing different what makes them fun but also frustrating.

Tager steamrolls harder against people who don't know the match up then Pot but Tager gets shutdown harder at high levels in a lot of matches

how do people think a game is good when you can essentially lock a player out of any defense of any kind and take 100% of their life? What about games where you can OTG relaunch over and over or combo off a fucking throw?

Yooo why can i find no online matches in this game. Player match i find like 1 room with 2 people. Online match as in selecting country, 0/64 0/64 0/64 everywhere i look. How the fuck do i get matches in this game
