The house is lovely, love the lights and there is plenty of natural light, but I don’t know why a lot of Nigerian properties lack greenery (could it be that we Nigerians hate maintaining a garden or do we think that a snake might be chilling in the grass?) and also they have a basic bathroom finish. The house is ‘relatively’ cheap but not for the majority of the population.
@StevenNdukwu3 жыл бұрын
Check out the recent video I did.. it has enough green space
@alvanalvino2 жыл бұрын
It is due to greed and stupidity from most developers who reduce the natural space on a traditional Lagos state plot of land so they have to design it in such a way that they fit everything into a tiny space and ignore trees and grasses despite the threat of global warming. It is why I would never buy any property in Nigeria without a space to plant at least 2 trees.
@meejay1002 жыл бұрын
@@StevenNdukwu sorry for taking so long to reply. I will definitely check it out and thank you for taking time to reply !
@meejay1002 жыл бұрын
@@alvanalvino I understand this, like it doesn’t make sense to cut down green spaces. Like where I live … it’s a conservation area and even certain trees are protected. If a developer wants to build on the land they have to develop around it and ensure there are still some green spaces. Hopefully more developers adopt this, as it’s not sustainable.
@davetv47053 жыл бұрын
Nice property but my problem is the absence of greenery.
@meejay1003 жыл бұрын
I am actually wondering about this aswell. Do Nigerians not like greenery as they have to maintain it? Or could it be that they think snakes or pests might be hiding there? Or is it because the developers don’t normally add it, so we perceive it as the norm.
@emmanuella.e3 жыл бұрын
@@meejay100 Greenery is usually added when the estate is almost full with occupants. Because the home owners are the one to maintain it. That is how it was done in my estate.
