I feel like this would be perfect for a second snare. With some new heads it might even sound similar to a main snare, for $42 that's crazy.

Sounds very nice, did you tune it a certain way? I have a Mapex Maple deluxe, It sounds in my opinion way to hard, I need to use a headphone or it is to loud for my ears. I whish to have a sound that not sounds like beating on a metal can with a hammer. I think I would play a lot more if I had a better sound.

i just bought a pearl casey cooper snare drum and i have paid 180 dollar because it was the cheaper one i could find , if i have knew about this snare cost 40 bucks in amazon i wouln'd have think twice buying the snare /// for me sound ok just need to change the drum pads //// greeting from Peru /////
