Humans can go up to 60 days without food, all depending on your exertion. If you just sit on a rock, you burn VERY few calories. Once starvation mode kicks in, that reduces further. It's unlikely, but you can absolutely survive 20 days on no food as long as you have water. Wouldn't recommend it, but it's doable. Just don't work out

The kid actor who played Sanji along with Zeff bodied that role, love how well they adapted the flashback, and ngl to you but Arlong looks more menacing in the LA than the anime imo.

The flashback was done so well, Zeff look mad accurate. This show does its own thing while keeping the story linear. Can’t wait for more seasons

I recently realized that Zeff and Sanji's backstory is an allusion to Treasure Island. Long John Silver is the ship's cook and tells a story of how he cut off his leg and served it to his crew to keep them from starving after being shipwrecked.

Sanji being so grateful to Zeff and being so indebted due to him cutting his leg off to save Sanji hits harder when you know his full backstory 😢

The actors for Zeff and Sanji have acted together before! Another reason why they have such great chemistry. This is not their first time working together and it shows! they absolutely nailed their roles.

I like how this they changed Luffy a bit in this. Regular Luffy would say “He’ll be fine, he’s strong” and not worry in the slightest but this one is actually really worried and is lowkey freaking out that Zoro might die

The funny thing is that Zeff also gave Sanji the only knife... Bro used a fucking rock to cut his leg off when they had a knife the whole time. lol

I honestly like Garp in the LA. Don't get me wrong I love him in the anime too, but I like how viewers (especially people new to OP) slowly start realizing that he's being hard on Luffy because he doesn't want him killed/to execute him himself like he had to for his friend Gold Roger

They still use fish skin for severe burns. It's not canon but it's an amazing addition that he could've believably have known about.

A person can survive 30 to 50 days without food until they become critically weak but will die in 43 to 70 days assuming they don't have water. Since they brought food with them onto the rock the length of time they survived is possible.
