Can we please have a talk about the types of insurance for first time car buyers

Nice vid. I have about the same amount of km on my Elite SE. Fuel consumption hovers at 8l/100. I drive about 70% on the highway and 30% urban. I think the fuel consumption is not that bad as this is not a small car and has a powerful engine so I think it perform decent. Lots of other manufacturers claims very low fuel consumptions but in the real world its much higher. For example the Ford EcoSport has a 1.0 liter engine with a claimed consumption of 5.4 yet I have not heard about anyone getting below 7l/100 so the Chery is really not that bad. As for the body roll I must say I don't have a issue with it. In my experience it actually corners quite flat but I think this is down to perception and I drove a Suzuki Ignis before this so obviously it will be worlds apart. I have not had any issues with the weird noises or the number plate issue but there is now a squeaking noise developing from the dash right above the drivers display. Will have it checked out by the dealer soon. Speaking of the dealers my experience so far with Chery has been great so no complaints there. Another thing that I think can be improved is the cruise control. This system just needs to be calibrated better as a small hill will make the CVT gear down and the car will rev very high and its not necessary. I overcome this by switching over to manual and select a gear suitable for the hill and then the car does not over rev but I think its a simple fix with software. Overall I think these are great vehicles and very well priced.

We picked up an Elite SE about a month ago now, can agree on the fuel consumption and there's some slight software issues (on occasion the voice assistant says an error message when you start the car even though there isn't one or the homescreen is a bit glitched) but otherwise the car has been amazing, my most favourite feature is the 360 degree camera and overall just how the car feels to drive, it feels very energetic especially compared to the corolla we had before..

You could try using some thick foam rubber strip with one sided glue and stick it on the back of the number plate to get rid of the noise without damaging the paint.
