"The Child Is Not a Baby Yet!" | Mini Debate on Abortion (NOT funny)

Can injecting kids with hormones and puberty blockers be compared to abortion? I say abortion is even worse! And in the future, humanity will look back with horror at these two medical travesties of our times.
This mini-debate on abortion was triggered after I said transitioning kids is the biggest medical scandal of our time, but second only to abortion.
Remarkably, my fellow panelist. who supported abortion, kept referring to unborn baby as "child"! This undermines the pro-abortion argument; usually they are very fond of the word "fetus" instead!
Also, starting your sentence with "As a women..." doesn't necessarily help your case, especially when many women are against abortion.
Sadly, there wasn't enough time for a proper debate in this tight segment, and this is not a funny clip. @@liefsux No, you just agreed with her. She interrupted and gave her opposition no time to respond, and never understood her opponent's position nor tried to. The debate never happened. She said her piece over top of him and then acted like her sex lends credence to her position. It's like saying you won a fight by preventing your opponent from entering the ring.

At 8 weeks from fertilization, a fetus has 90% of the anatomical structures of an adult. The lady saying the baby in utero "isn't formed" makes as much sense as saying a newborn "isn't formed".

At the moment of fertilization it has 100% of the DNA, so any later development is secondary. Living creatures are categorized by their DNA. Pushing back the argument to heartbeat, arms and legs, or other bodily features plays into the abortionists' arguments that it's not a baby until they say it is (and the date seems to keep being pushed later and later until at some point medical euthanasia will be termed retroactive abortion).

@@liefsux She's not there for that, and she's clearly ill equipped for the debate. It's the usual leftist tactic, try to tinker with language... it's a fetus until it's outside. Geography conveys personhood, apparently. Women need to have abortion rights, that's not even the question. But, changing language doesn't help, because people see through it and that immediately contaminates the conversation.

Growing up in this society, we've been conditioned to talk about this in a way that is far too polite for what it is. We need to say blatantly "abortion is murder" the same way we would say "those people are murdering kids" if we visited aztec society.

@@ShankarSivarajan how do you think we should act? Did people living in nazi germany who opposed the holocaust try to launch attacks against concentration camps? Very few did. It's only worth doing something like that if there's a decent chance that it changes the entire regime, otherwise you just get locked away and the slaughter continues as much as before. We're working towards regime change. Do you also believe that vegans don't actually believe that eating meat is wrong because they aren't launching attacks against farms? You haven't thought this through.

No, it's also possible that you (and the Germans and vegans) _do_ think it's murder, but consider your own lives to be worth so much more than those of the babies/Jews/cows being killed. That's perfectly fine: the overwhelming majority of people are cowards too. Just don't pretend you're _brave_ or noble or wise by choosing to work towards a "regime change" that may never come instead of acting directly.

This desperation to have this “right” to kill one’s baby is perhaps the most reprehensible aspect of an already spiritually sick culture. The efforts to dehumanise the foetus by saying “it is just a collection of cells” is textbook psychopathy and I have actually heard a couple of serial killer interviews where the killers refer to their victims as “mere atoms/ a collection of cells” to justify their crimes (I do not make this comparison in jest). Abortion is a sacrifice on the altar is the most extreme selfishness. It was almost universally agreed that eugenics was one of the worst aspects of the Nazi regime and yet today eugenics has simply been rebranded as abortion

I think that it is symbolic that the woman challenging Nicholas' point is dressed in the colour of blood red. While it is not likely that she dresssed herself in that colour with that symbolic intent, I think the symbolism fits.

she can spill out her reasoning all she wants but it doesn't touch reality. As Bill Burr put it: if you take a cake I'm baking out of the oven and throw it in the trash you've absolutely ruined my cake. It may still needed development to meet your standards, but it also had absolutely everything it needed to become a cake. Just leave it be and it will be. Of course even moreso, fetuses are unique humans. They have their own DNA in their own independent body; the mother carries but does not own them.

Yes, once a woman has done it, they're trapped in a realm of unreality and lies, as the only way to protect themselves from immense guilt. This is the true motive behind pushing abortion -- it creates an army of easily mind controlled sheeple voters, that enable the corrupt to remain in power, by manipulating the emotions of women against themselves. They can literally make a woman who has had an abortion vote for _anything,_ by linking it to the subconscious guilt she has, over killing her own defenseless child. At the highest level, this is some seriously sick vvitchcraft being done against humanity.

It's so strange that saying things that are true are now seen as revolutionary, reactionary, or"wrong". Saying it's "a woman's right" to kill her child is just as much of a religious statement, as gender-woo. Because these things don't have the mysticism of a traditional religion, and are "cUrEd By SciEnCE" doesn't stop them being unprovable beliefs - indeed some of their statements are provably wrong. My God. She says the child cannot decide on transition, but aborting the baby is okay because the adult can decide. IN BOTH CASES, AN ADULT IS DECIDING. While I am not in favor of medical transition of children, most actual transsexuals (Like myself) have opposite gender drives and feelings from very young in life. True transsexuality is anatomical, it's not a mental condition at all. It's a hormonal abnormality. A child who actually has this is far more informed on their gender abnormality than a baby in the womb understands why their life is an inconvenience to the woman who gave it to them.

"Could gender treatment be the medical scandal of our time?" Nicholas' point that it could very well be, "second only to abortion" is very relevant and a valid comparison. In both cases so-called medical professionals act upon victims who are premature, and in both cases there are irreversible consequences of those actions. Abortion ranks as the worse of the two because with abortion the victim's very life is snuffed out. Abortion is much more than psychological or physical abuse. Abortion is homicide. There is another medical scandal of our time which one day will also be recognized as scandalous, perhaps ranking between abortion and "gender treatment" and that has to do with a certain Event Two O One in two thousand and nineteen and its implementation. All these three things are truly scandalous and someday will be seen by everyone as a complete abuse of many so-called experts in the medical field, ending countless lives prematurely and damaging countless others physically and socially and psychologically and emotionally. In all three of these "medical scandals", political and media forces are culpable participants.
