Just as a reminder the Hydro Gnosis is still a thing and important as the remains of the Third Descender. The Throne of Hydro that held Neuvilette's Authority over the element and was also held in said Gnosis has been returned. It's only now more apparent the Fatui are probably not collecting the Gnosis for the Dragon power but for the fact they're from that Descender.

01:05:14 - Many people wonder why she looks to the river instead of the bigger body of water here. My idea for that is that this scene foreshadowed her scene with Neuvillette later because not all rivers reach the ocean... and just before her saying that she enjoys the view she said to us that she needs time to think about something, so this might be the moment she canonically thought of the water analogy which is brought up later. I'm also a huge fan of how they did this in terms of story telling. A lot of people are upset with them "spoiling" it through the Animated Short, but for me it definitely enhanced the experience because it made the story quest go from popcorn cinema to a more detail-focused plot. I'm not against popcorn cinema, but what I really like is analyzing all these different ways they interact with one another... non-verbal communication, what they say and especially what they don't say - because we know the bigger picture or the surface level plot, we have the virtue of focusing our attention to the inner workings of the characters, see how Lyney thinks, how Arlecchino operates and also how the MC reacts. Many times we learn alongside the MC, but I like when I can observe the characters more because I already know what they don't. It's also kind of funny to me that the people who disliked the quest because of the "spoiling" are also often times the people who hate it when we are introduced to a new NPC in a story quest and then it's more about the NPC. I'd argue that if we didn't know about Clervie beforehand these people would criticize the quest just for that without acknowledging the fact that because of the spoiler we as an audience had the privilege to have a bigger insight into Arlecchino. The way they did it also represents her in a way - being very upfront and transparent while the real thing is hidden on a deeper level that you can't just consume easily.

I would HIGHLY recommend reading Arlecchino's Character Story, Boss Fight/Material lore (Archive), and her Weapon lore. Also if you wanna know more about her origins and about the Crimson Moon (you know as in the Crimson Moon Dynasty of Khaenri'ah) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading Perinheri book. Its at the book store in Fontaine, it's not to long and super interesting. Just so you know, the Black Sun or Eclipse Dynasty was the last dynasty of Khaenri'ah. Whereas the Crimson Moon Dynasty was the one before the Eclipse Dynasty.

Its intresting going back and realizing huh....the traveler didnt have some super op support this time, or furutristic mind reading, its another situation where the boss genuinely gave up basically, but are still stronger

Was expecting the first impression vid first. Today is a good day! R5 The Catch is so nice to see. If you take your time, it does get annoying sometimes, but really isn't that bad. I went in the fight without a healer, the Family team actually (for the unique voiceline). Using her to fight herself was quite fun. The moves are easier to dodge than most bosses' and the related achievements don't take much effort to get, so overall, it's a very satisfying battle. A tip for that one acheivement-of never getting hit when you are inflicted with the Bond until the end of battle-swap the inflicted char away and use a healer that can heal off-field or do burst heal to clear the Bond asap. The little critters probably represent her other friends born from her flames, meaning she also had to kill them.. One thing I wished was more in the quest is the mention of her Crimson Moon bloodline. Her blood can cause and affect leyline memory phenomena, that's so important! It's confirmed in her voicelines that she was told about it, so hopefully she'll have the 2nd quest.

I really recommended playing the world quest to the end I think it is one of the best exploration experience we ever had especially the end of it was magical with the music and the cutscene ^ ^

Although the animated short spoiled almost everything, ,I still think this is one of the best story quests up for me with deheya's also, the soft cap for traveler power is interesting for the future, especially in Natalan

To clarify how the The Knave Boss' special charged attack mechanic works: she applies a Bond of Life to your characters, which increases the damage she deals to you (which can result in a one-shot). So you want to clear that as quickly as possible by overhealing it, once you clear the Bond of Life your next charged attack from any of your characters will deal extra damage and can interrupt her attacks. However, be warned she does have a mechanic where if you're too far away depending on her HP either block or dodge most ranged attacks.

As players, we have a bird's eye POV. But, the Traveler doesn't have that luxury. All they know about the Knave is what they've heard secondhand through Fatui operatives they've met over the course of their journey. Of course, dealing with her during the whole Prophecy crisis has lent them more insight into her, but she keeps her cards so close to her chest so they don't know what's true and what's not.

Remember Neuvillette told us that gnoses are made of the third Descender remains? Considering that hydro gnosis has no power left in it, but Fatui still took it, I assume that they aren't after gnosis power but rather after the remains. And in several other quests Fatui were looking for god's remains too.

01:02:11 there are a Hydro Gnosis Facalors gave it to Neuvillette before killing herself (he said that to Skirk) she destroyed (transformed) the throne and the authority of the hydro to the dragon but the object itself (the Gnosis) it still has its power if not than the shogun and every other archon will not have a control of their elements which is not the case

i have the catch did not refine it to max gave up its takes way to long for the fish to respawn if the 72h was in game time where you can fast forward ill do it since i do alot of fishing in other games and i find it fun but once it takes real life hours its not fun anymore i don't even have the other fishing weapons.

There's no Divine Throne for Hydro aka no Hydro Archon which contained the Sovereign's authority. They have the Hydro Gnosis. Also the Tsaritsa has 6 Gnosis so far.

Demo's never been relevant to the story quest of the character even the knave but the character teaser most of the time has something to do with their story quest especially the characters who don't have any involvement in the archon quest
