There is a Cantonese song from Sam Hui which has the line No Money No Talk. I didn’t realise this was pidgin English.

Very interesting, although I think it would have been more appropriate to use Traditional Chinese Characters instead of Simplified for the examples. Also, Mandarin was rarely the language of contact between the English-speaking merchants in China. The source of the Chinese phrases that entered the English language were mostly Cantonese, Hokkien and Shanghainese and others.
