Recipe
- 80g roasted hazelnuts
- 70g 64% dark chocolate
- 150 flour
- 85g sugar
- 8g yeast
- 3 eggs
- 7cl milk
- 100g semi-salted butter
- 90g walnuts
- 180g chocolate
- 15cl light liquid cream
- 60g roasted hazelnuts
- Crush the first batch of hazelnuts into a coarse powder
- Form chocolate chips with the 70g of dark chocolate
- Mix the hazelnut powder, baking powder, sugar, and flour, then make a well in the center
- Add the whole eggs, softened butter, and milk, then mix everything until the batter is smooth
- In a buttered and floured cake mold, pour half of the batter, then cover with the chocolate chips, add the remaining batter, and finally cover with walnut halves
- Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for 35 minutes with a fan setting
- Let the cake rest, then remove it from the mold
- Melt the remaining chocolate and the liquid cream in a double boiler
- Cover the entire cake with the melted chocolate, place a few whole toasted hazelnuts on top
- After allowing the chocolate to harden, enjoy
