Everyone of these "Chosen" actors have been God chosen. Who can argue with God?

I really love how Shmuel was portrayed. I felt badly for him. He was sincere, and somewhat fearful of losing what was good. And it was good! The law is good; it’s from God. I’m sure many Pharisees felt they were defending God. But fear can block us from Truth. Shmuel was portrayed very human. Masterful work

I am so glad that The Chosen has included the FULL storyline for the Pharisees and the Sadducees. I am learning a lot from the show and then going back and reading the four Gospels. Great job!!!!

Like Shaan and he does such a great job portraying a villain to the letter of the law. “The law is god.” I think we relate to his struggle of letting God out of the box we put Him in as people, in limiting Him in doing new or different things in our lives. 👏👏👏 Bravo, Shaan!!! Oh my dear God! Great interview! The Chosen is the greatest story I've ever had the pleasure of viewing, hearing and embracing. It has changed my life. I'm watching the TV series on Prime for the third time now. And I will continue to watch it over and over again. I've purchased the theatre passport for season 4, and have already enjoyed the first three episodes. Dallas absolutely succeeded in choosing the best actors to tell this story. Every single actor has portrayed their roles perfectly. There is not a single actor that does not excel. Thank you all!

This is one of the best interviews I have ever seen. The questions were great but Shaan's responses were extremely well articulated and it is amazing how many areas he works in. It is amazing his personal depth and dedication to making himself valuable in each arena he enters. When I see him in The Chosen going forward, I will see much more than Shmuel. Just tremendous.

I am so excited to hear all of these fabulous interviews!! I had not heard of The Chosen (or any of these actors), until I saw a message that popped up on the Osmond Facebook fan page I'm on, about Eric Osmond having a part in it. I scrambled to find it, binge watched the whole first season trying to find him, only to find out he's in the second season. But, In the meantime, I discovered all these fabulous, gifted, humorous actors, Dallas and all his dedicated team and I'm so blessed! It's like finding a treasure I didn't know I was looking for! This was one of the most insightful interviews I have ever watched. I had no idea the level of work and camaraderie and just everything that goes into this business. Shaan is such an articulate person - I can't think of anyone better to be a representative of SAG. He is correct that Jonathan Roume is perfect as Jesus - his faith and humility shows in each of every episode As a matter of fact whoever the casting directors are in this case hit it on the head with you and your role and I thank you for that. The Chosen brought me back to the Bible. And for that I say thank you to Dallas and everyone on the cast. I wish you well im all you do and each of your endeavors. Very articulate and brilliant actor, using a variation on the Method and his amazing empathy to bring a difficult character to totally believable, three-dimensional life. Interesting how he understands that villains never think they’re being villains; they have a reasoning and arc that brings them to the wrong side of things without necessarily knowing it. Enjoyed this immensely.

What's interesting about the character of Shmuel (which comes to me as the original Hebrew of Samuel) is that it is a CONTRAST to the original Bible name-bearer, whose attitude was, "Speak, LORD. Your servant is listening."

I’m guilty of blocking a someone on Facebook and I see how wrong that I was to act that way. Everyone has the right to believe in what they believe. I just got caught up in the hype of that I’m right and I don’t want to hear anything else. Sometimes people have to search their heart and pray about things before acting on impulses.
