I hope that, despite it's already past the Christmas time, you still feel festive enough for this little Christmas themed fairy.
She is just a Pine Fairy, but she definitely feels the Christmas spirit!

His project was actually the first one in my carrier that I canceled completely :P But I will use his head for something else ;) Have few ideas for male dolls, but they are never as popular as female ones, and with the algorithm nowadays I can't afford it right now :P

Her hairstyle is absolutely stunning! There are 13 days of Christmas so not late at all! I like the diversity of the body types of G3, the faces are fine. It works great for dollightful's art style but not so much for others. It really depends on the artist's style. You could use old monster high heads and the new bodies possibly?

I definitely can do that :) Here I wanted to challenge myself with this totally different face mold, though. You never know until you try, right? :) Now I will happily go back to the g1 and g2 heads XD. I will tackle some more g3 in the future, but I need something easier for now :D

Absolutely love the use of green in the skin tone, and the hair was such a beautiful color. I think this is one of the cutest fairies you've created. I hope you dont give up on the G3 dolls because i think the different body proportions could suit your aretwork. Even though it was challenging you managed it beautifully. Im looking forward to the next! ❤❤

I just watched the first ever witch doctor project again, all that time ago, and from no head shrinking to bamboo skewers and swearing off epoxy sculpt, it’s been looooong 3 years of evolution. I love the mistakes, the retrospection, the novice friendly sound of experimentation- it’s very different to the highly skilled artist of today. I LOVE her. I know you hated working on the Gen 3 but I was amazing how you got rid of those eyelids. It looked like they were never there! And now you can say that you've worked on a G3 and go back to the older ones. 😅 Looking forward to seeing what you bring us in 2024!

@@CatmeleonStudio Maybe in the future someone will have come up with an easier way to shrink the heads, or tweak the shrinking formula to work better with g3. Here's hoping! Your work is gorgeous no matter what, but the less headaches and discouragement the better!

Marzena, She is truly lovely. I appreciate that you worked through the difficulties of using the G3 MH doll. She turned out beautiful as always. I'm glad you liked her in the end. I thought the addition of the wood grain on her legs was very creative and added to her overall tree vibe. I love her hair. I really thought you were going to put the lights in her hair, lol. On another note...a male project coming up? Sound too awesome and I can't wait. I hope 2024 is a great year for you and your art. I haveliked all of your projects. I am not picky. Whatever doll styles and ideas you come up with I'm sure I will enjoy. Thank you for starting out the new year on a high note! I had to come back and add that I really love the few seconds of kitty moments at the end of some of your videos. It gives us a tiny sneak peak into other parts of your life.

Don't keep your hopes up :P With my current views rate I can't afford a full male project :/ (they are always less popular than the female ones...). But the head won't go to waste :P

I love how you went in the direction of a plant that is not usually associated with fairies! I’ve seen drawings of like holly, and poinsettias but never have I seen a fairy associated with the Christmas tree!!! Awesome job!!! Happy New Year!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

When I saw you working on her eyes, I thought - oh, zombie cutie! That's a great idea! Naturally, the eyes regained their color and the cute fairy didn't become a zombie, but.... maybe your imagination will be fired up by the idea. Either way, you have incredible dolls! So happy to hear this! :) The articulation is great for posable customs. It is just another obstacle and a gap to cover for doll figurines :D But hey! I chose the style - I need to deal with my own decisions :D Good luck with the new hobby! I highly recommend it! ^_^

As a medium for custamization I feel like these newer gen dolls clash with your particular style because the extra joints are great for customizers who want to keep their dolls mobile and posable for photoshoots, rather than have them as static elegantly posed statuettes. The thicker vinyl and sculpted on details are also an added layer of difficulty. That said, I think you did an amazing job, even with all these extra hurdles, and its definitely made me rethink my own reservations about completing a project I was hesitant to do because I didn't trust I'd do well enough with what I had to work with. Thank you for pushing past the added difficulty, it's really motivating! Your prossess is always a delight to bare witness to!

Totally agree that the additional joints are not the best for doll figurines makers (they are really hard to remove). But I ma happy that I managed to make something decent from it ^_^ Happy that you like my fairy! ^_^

Ummm... this doll is STINKIN ADORABLE! ❤ I love how her body looks like it's made of wood, with the texture of bark, the colors of wood and trees, and the cool pinecone features. Her hair style is on another level! It's an entire Christmas tree, with decorations and everything!! So cool, and very high fashion, if I might add 😂 I love that you made the light string look like a Christmas light string with the different colors and green "cord." Your works of art never cease to amaze and awe me. You are so so so very talented, and I'm so grateful to you for posting your process and creations so that I can watch and enjoy. I’m really hoping to get my hands on some g3 dolls in the future and, as a customiser, I love seeing comparisons from other artists. I vividly remember thinking “I wonder how Catmeleon is going to cope with these?” 😂 When it comes to sculpted elements I HATED them as a kid playing with any dolls and found them so restrictive, but when customising I’ve really come to enjoy working them into a character (when I cannae be bothered to smooth it out). Also mad respect for always giving your custom girls the Big Naturals

Exactly! It forces you to some way of play. When I was a kid and I had a (for example) Malibu Barbie, I never played as a Malibu Barbie. I played as Aphrodite, or any other character that was born in my head. If kid doesn't want to play as a mummy, the bandages will only work against the imagination. And I know that kids can work with anything, but why not make a bandages from material, that are part of the outfit, not the doll. It's like "No! We want you to play as Cleo the mummy, or Venus the flytrap monster! Stop deciding for yourselves!" :P

She's freaking ADORABLE! I knew there was *something* I didn't care for with the G3 line, and now that I've watched this, I fully understand why...the proportion with the torso is off. After I saw how you elongated it, I'm like AH! That's it! I hope your mom loved this faery 😊❤

I love this little pine nymph fairy 😍 All of your creations are beautiful and I don’t think you give yourself enough credit!! You should make a set of wood-nymphs, maybe some of the traditional trees such as pine, oak and birch; but I also think a Willow nymph or cherry blossom or wisteria nymph would be beautiful 🤩

This is one of my favorites! Loved how the sculpting on her legs reminds me of a nutcracker a little bit, and her hair is so much fun! Definitely worth the wait and festive many times over 😄
