The Chromatic II V, what is it exactly? How does it work? It’s actually quite simple, and it’s a really cool sound, but if you’re not familiar with it it can be a cause of great confusion when trying to analyze a tune. In this lesson, I go over Chromatic Sequences of Harmony, in particular, the II V7.

U can see the Ivm and bVII7 (Cm F7 in G) as a modal interchange chords from the parallel aeolian scale. Sometimes they call it "backdoor resolution". I wish i was clear and thank you for the channel❤
