Жыл бұрынIt's been a whole year since the last time we had a car meet at The Chronicles HQ. Originally I had planned to do a couple of them over the summer season but it just got way too busy with all the traveling and events. Things have finally slowed down a little bit at home so I though that Thanksgiving weekend would be a perfect time to have a meet again. There's nothing better than just having that free time to hang out with friends and enthusiasts over a long weekend. The week before that, Der and I stopped by our friend David's monthly "Brew's Cruise" event in Long Beach and let's just say we ran into a pretty interesting character there. Hindsight being 20/20, we still have no idea what car that was....

There's always that guy in a car show that really stretches be imagination of what he thinks his car can do. I love the whole chill vibe of this video I'm older been in the Honda game a long time and love the shows where everybody doesn't take off like they're leaving for a race. Like you stated nice and cool chill vibe

I think that "McLaren" is a Manta Mirage, which was a kit car made to emulate McLaren's Can Am race cars. Oh man that guy is something else

Question, what was the part being discussed on Dave's Ek hatch in reference to it being quick release or not?? I didn't understand the context or what the part actually is. Is it external shock reservoirs mounted inside?(only thing makes sense to me)

They were talking about the quick release line that is available for remote reservoirs on JRZ coilovers

Since he didn't have time to order the quick release lines, he had to put a whole in his chassis to run the line through to the shock body. Having the quick release line would have been a more aesthetically-pleasing look overall for the install and would avoid needing such a big whole in the body because the reservoir had to be routed through the chassis.
