We are back in Japan for Vlog #3 to cover everything that went on during our trip for the 2016 Wekfest Japan event. It might have been just a few months since we left Japan but so much has changed already. The Exceed Japan shop is a bit further along in development and Yasu Shimomukai is working feverishly on new project cars for the Wekfest event. This time around, we stayed exclusively in Osaka, which is much like a second home to me, and spend our time with friends and fellow car people. This Vlog series will cover the entire trip and all the extra curricular stuff we did along the way....
Wekfest Japan 2016 begins in Part 3 of this Japan series, as we make the journey from Osaka to Nagoya for the annual event. Roll-in times and set-up is typically very early for Wekfest Japan so we actually left Exceed Japan to head to Nagoya at around 2 AM in the morning! The drive is about 2 1/2 hours so we rallied the troops and began our drive. I wanted to film some of the drive like I did last year but in my haste, I actually forgot the merchandise I had brought over from the U.S. for The Chronicles booth at WFJP and had to rush back to my AirBnb to pick it up. The rest of the group did not want to be late so they took off a little bit ahead of me and my group. Once we arrived, the cars started rolling in and that is where the coverage starts.
