Ze Real Aviator my first experience of Boston was that it’s a cool place with lots of history and comparing it to cities in Ohio it’s 100 times better. Then you begin to really experience Boston and it’s downfalls surface. When visiting Salem what’s the deal with all the traffic lights being on the side of the road and blinking? Blinking green? Never seen that in any other state. Then there’s the fact that the roads just haphazardly go everywhere for no apparent reason it’s like they didn’t even plan things. But the real downside is the fact that it’s more removed from most of the East Coast cities then let’s say someplace like Baltimore or New York where you can easily travel to most of the East Coast cities and then factor in that the cost of living there is astronomically expensive and the taxes are nuts and you begin to say hell no to Boston. It’s a very cool place to visit if you have money but I don’t think I would ever live there. I did really enjoy nearby Cape Cod it reminded me of the western coast of Michigan which is my home state where I grew up western Michigan has big Sandune’s lots of nice beaches and light houses

Modeltnick actually, the north end sucks. It has nothing to do with what it once was, actual Italian. This is for the most part a tourist area now, like in Paris when the fake french guy tries to wave you in for shitty fake french food. . While it is fun to walk around, there are so many other places for real local food. Walk, get obligatory ricotta cheesecake, go find real local food. Do some research and have a memory instead of an overpriced tourist meal in a no longer authentic Italian neighborhood.
