I tried this like 7 times and then I started crying. My arms hurt so bad

For the life of me I cannot do this. I start crying every time I try. I can't get past adding hair and crossing them over especially or my own hair. I really want to learn to do this and it is so frustrating!

Ladies, I'm a guy and i did it and all of you can too! Honestly the best advice that i can give is don't put too much focus on give every hair braided. Its okay to have a few flyaways if your hair isnt super straight like me. My braid looks majestic and now i can easily do it. Just start small and dont be afraid to add a good amount of hair each time you braid a strand. If you take small bit of hair every time, it'll take you forever and you'll have a lot of hair left out

My hair gets so tangled when I do the parting. I brush it multiple times, and it seems like I have no tangles, then I do the parting and suddenly I have 5 dreadlocks.

I just did a French braid the way you did it, and I love it!! I think putting the elastic on the first section of your hair really helps!! But ya thanksss so muchh

Everyone needs to calm down. As long as you have patience and you go nice and slow you'll get it. Trust me, I could not get it but then i just sat down and i went slowly and i just got it. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good as in I could go out in the public and wear it. So just have patience.

I taught myself when I was 14. I literally stomped and cried every time I failed. Sometimes you just have to go at it for hours until you get it perfect. I remember how hard it was. I recommend dampening your hair. It helps to get a tighter braid also keep your fingers closer to your head at the nape of the neck or it’ll end up being lose!

how do you keep your hands up that long -.- I can barley keep them up for 10 seconds when curling my hair 😭
