My GR Adidas BW Army shoes had very soft leather as well. Not as plush as the Hartcopy pair but actually was still solid. Happy to have these and will be my only sneakers now that I have 3 total pairs of BW Armys lol

I've been buying the Beckett Simonon GATs for years. The quality for price is amazing and they are made to order and very comfortable. I really don't see why anybody would buy these other than hype.

These are so good. I missed the initial weird drop and left a nice comment on their Instagram, they ended up DMing me about some cancelled orders they had and sent me over an invoice, which was incredible of them and I'm very excited to get them in as I haven't been into sneakers much recently but these do it for me, and I love the work they do. Mine will be here Tuesday.

This is a really nice collab. The branding is practically invisible, and it fits hartcopys brand ethos. I’d buy these not really to wear but just to support them

i don't get it. why pay resale or designer prices for another German Army Training sneaker reproduction when you can probably cop a vintage deadstock/slightly used pair of vintage GATs for around 100 euro ( which where probably manufactured by adidas and/or puma considering this was a goverment contract from way before they moved their production facilities out of germany).

i've been through a lot of shitty sneaker releases, this has to be up there with the worst of them. that being said, i think the sneaker still is one to get. i'm hoping there is more to come, because how can you justify the terrible initial release?

I have a pair of the regular adi's in chocolate brown. Bit squeaky due to the lower quality leather but should be fine once broken in. Paid £45

I'm def looking forward to buying a pair of these BW army's soon these where kinda impossible to get for anyone over in the US but. I know they'll have plenty of other releases to come I've always like the Maison margiela replica so def gonna be a good replacement option for those.
