Belle Monappa Hegde often abbreviated as B. M. Hegde is an Indian medical scientist, educationist and author. He is a retired Vice Chancellor of the Manipal University and the head of the Mangalore Chapter of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. He has authored several books on medical practice and ethics. He is also the Editor in Chief of the medical journal, Journal of the Science of Healing Outcomes. He was awarded the Dr. B. C. Roy Award in 1999. In 2010 He was honoured with a Padma Bhushan, one of India's highest civilian awards.

We need more Medicine practitioners like him. I don't have degree in medicine but telling my family and others to live holistic life . Like I am without any flu ,cold , stomach issue for last 2 yrs now . Just being vegan , grounding ,meditation and using Ayurvedic ways which I prepare at home . Respect sir 🙏

I believe you 100% because my experience and knowledge are supporting your speech very well, I have been studying in the medical field for many years, day by day I learn something new, accidentally I listen to your speech yesterday, amazing. Even though I am a nurse, I want to provide the highest care for my patients, friends, and relatives. So every disease or procedure which I need to take care, I try to study more, Your views about health, happiness, life all almost same like mine. So I am very happy and feeling like a winner. Thanks

Dr. Hegde is the gift of India who has guts to talk openly about the disadvantages of medicine since he understood Indian system of Ayurveda medicine and able to compare the so called modern medicine and thorough to understand and talk about the modern medicine authoritatively. Dear Sir, I totally agree with your points and I have experienced same by myself, My Grandpa was a spiritual person, lived for nearly 104 years he lived a simple life in a small village as post master where his mode of transport was cycle, No tensions a free life, good environment and 3 times a heavy meal in a day, and a compulsory walk in the evening once he got retired, I have never seen him going to the doctor…I do still remember when he was admitted to hospital in his last days. I went to meet him and asked wat happened, you used to be alright a strong man and how did this happen all of the sudden. And he replied, because I have given up on life, it no more motivates me to live…May be the stress of my Grandmas death 3 Months before was deeply rooted in him…Medical Science can never find the real reasons or solutions to most of our problems but we within us can solve most of it by Our Subconscious.

+Nirguna Siva It surely is a powerful talk but let's not say it's truthful. I have pointed out certain fallacies in what Dr. Hegde has said. There surely is no truth in that.

Answer to the question raised by someone is absolutely correct. New professionals has to come in medical field to guide the people to choose the systems which work effectively for particular diseases.

You may want to correct the sub titles at 11:14 - 11:22 - it's ejection fraction and not rejection fraction..... and Halen Heldy at 11:54. 13:09 - transitory thing not transit treaty. 16:10 Charles Webster Leadbeater. 21:29 If you look at that, there are lot of parts where there is no electrical activity in the heart at all which means you're dead. 23:03 sick sinus syndrome (SSS). 23:53 Now, modern medicine has failed. 24:7 Doctors went on strike.... Hru da ya - Sanskrit for heart. Daya also means kindness or mercy.

Mr/Ms kuruvilla thomas.. nobody will give you proof. nobody can give any proof for you. if you want to agree, then agree or else leave ... nobody is affected with your opinion or nobody can convince anybody who can not accept something. because everything can be understood only with self belief. and you have to always put effort yourself to analyse,study and create proof yourself. because everybodies perception will be different. so your perception can not be understood by anybody else...if you believe in whatever you believe stand with it, things which you can not believe just leave it.. nobody can give any proof and convince anybody leaving their precious time given by god...

he is so superficial about the medical concepts. he is rejecting research of hundreds of years. just stating the negative aspects. who gave him the glasses he is wearing on the eyes.
