Today we tell that story.

My Great Great Grandfather was shot and killed outside the Pike County Courthouse, about 1935. I'm also descendant of Mullins and Yates

From 1976 to 1987 there was a Ed Fleming he was sheriff of Dickenson County then there was from 1948 to 1950 there was Truman Fleming I don't know if they are related to Pridemore and A.A (Fox) Fleming. Elijah Sutherland was sheriff to from 1883 to 1887 of Dickenson county

My family is from clintwood va ..my grandmother was a owner of one of the frist convenient stores there our last name is Colley well when we travel to the family cemetery i hear stories that my realtive Fighting Dick Colley was a mean man and the frist settler there. Can you do a story

The scars from the bullets are still on the courthouse building.

Some of those stills still run today. Don't think the wheels are not greased..... It's just so sad Dickenson County is so corrupted in 2022
