The watch the ball thing is so helpful - idk if you do this in this video as I'm writing this before watching, but I'm a big fan (15 yo playing in USA) and I've been binging some old videos, and when you talk to yourself with the "watch the ball," I did that today randomly in a u19 selection game, and scored my maiden 100.
