I got to do some computer work for their manager once as a friend called me and said they needed help. Had never seen Aerosmith but sitting on stage for a concert by them was remarkable. They were fantastic live. This wasn't long after 9/11, feels like yesterday! Sadly, didn't get to meet them because some yahoo crashed their backstage green room the night before and pissed everyone off so the manager said it would be better to let them have a uninterrupted visit. I got lucky and met 100s of bands in the 80s/90s so I understood their job is actually work, not just fun like you imagine as a kid dreaming of being a rock star. They've been one of my favorite bands since :-) Rock on Brad Whitford!

Gibson should be commended for featuring their competitors guitars along with their own. You don't see this from other brands. I'm late to the party once again...but better late than never. Thanks for another great episode. This series has become the thing on KZfaq I most look forward too. I wish you guys put them out more often. Can't wait to see who pops up next. I'd love to see Joe Walsh, Joe Perry, Dave Grohl and of course the man who made everyone want a Les Paul, Jimmy Page. I'll be happy with whoever pops up next as I appreciate many different kinds of music. Do more Please!

When I saw Aerosmith many years ago the big revelation was "wow, Brad is the guy playing all my favorite solos". I had no idea. The whole 'Tyler/Perry' mythos sucks up so much oxygen around this band that Brad's brilliance rarely gets noticed. In Steven Tyler's memoir it's "Joe-this, Joe-that" I think he mentions Brad's name two or three times in the whole book. Brad is such a world-class player.

Forever I made time daily to watch Mr Agnesi on GOTD and knew he was going to find bigger and better things on his journey through the world of guitars. I miss the Norm's sessions very much but seeing these clips reminds me it was for the best. Merry Christmas Mark I appreciate your input into the stringed symphony of life.

@@gteefxr3094 What would say? Because most people only know Joe Perry and Steven Tyler when you say Aerosmith… Underrated sums it up pretty well.

Love this series but the only thing that would make it better would be to cut to them plugged in for a demo. Have a couple different amp combinations that sound good with the guitars👌

Gibson deserves so much credit for breaking the mold. It shows such confidence in your company to highlight a competitors product alongside your own. I appreciate that Gibson as a company truly enjoys the history of the tools used regardless of the brand name. Respect and appreciation to everyone from bottom to top at the Gibson company. 🤝

This is nothing special. Gibson doesn't deserve any special credit for showing other brands when the damn series is about artists GUITAR collections. It's not entitled "Brad's (or anyone elses) collection of Gibson guitars"
