Taraji P. Henson and Fantasia Barrino Taylor reveal they were reluctant to take part in “The Color Purple” movie. Fantasia and Danielle Brooks open up about their journeys from starring in the Broadway musical and Phylicia Pearl Mpasi admits she was initially turned down and then got a call that changed her life. The new musical adaptation of “The Color Purple” will open in theaters on December 25.
