These are genuine refugees. Their country is next door and Poland is obliged to help them. Just like how Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon hosted millions of their neighbours, Syrian refugees. Remember when Poland was against hosting migrants who the EU allocated for them! Well, I understood their objections to it. The EU was basically encouraging unregulated migrations, by not enforcing laws and not deporting those who don't meet asylum criteria. And those migrants didn't wanted to live in Poland to begin with. They wanted to live in Western European countries. Hosting neighbours is basically a moral duty. So far, Poland and Romania are discharging that duty effectively.

@@Palestineexists you're 100% right about PiS ("Law and Justice") But you should know that only about 35% of voters voted for them. Poland has this weird election system that gives more votes to the party that came first. So PiS had about 30-35% votes, but it got the majority in Parliament because the second party only got about 20%. (In Poland, there's a larger number of parties than for example in the UK, which only really has two major parties, so the votes are much more fragmented). You're correct about the fact that not a small number of Poles were antisemitic. However, it would be fair of you also to mention the flip side: Polish people received the largest number of the "Righteous Among the Nations" awards, which is the highest Israeli award given to non-Jews, for helping and rescuing Jews. So to give a fair picture, yes, many Poles were either indifferent or hostile to Jews and, yes, a number of Poles actually reported on them to Germans. But the Polish Home Army (the big underground anti-Nazi organisation) punished those traitors with death, which was also unique in occupied Europe. Proportionally, collaborating with the Germans was more common in countries like France (in fact, the French government actively rounded up Jews and sent them to Germany), but it was also present in Poland. You should also know that Poland was the only one of the Western allies where you and your whole family were executed if you were discovered to be helping a Jew. So it required a lot of courage. However, proportionally speaking, Poles helped Jews more than other occupied nationalities in the West, as evidenced by the research of Yad Vashem Institute in Jerusalem. One more thing that people often confuse: when the Western media write about "Polish death camps", what they mean, is "German death camps LOCATED IN POLAND". They were not "Polish" in the sense of being created by Poland. The reason Germans built them in Poland is that Poland had a very large Jewish minority, so logistically it made more sense to build them in Poland than in Germany or France.

We call upon the Russian people to overthrow the Putin Regime, establish a Soviet Republic according to the 1936 Constitution, and UNCONDITIONALLY recognize the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine over its territory, as of pre-2014 borders, including the return of Crimea. Furthermore, Russia must cede the Kaliningrad Oblast to Poland, as this territory poses an existential threat to Poland and the Baltic States, as well as providing an outlet for the Russian Navy in the Baltic Sea, which could pose a threat to NATO. You see, they're taking them into their own homes. These are their immediate neighbours, their Slavic brothers and sisters. How can the muslims compare this to Syrians or others? It's human nature to accept people who share the same values and religion/culture, especially in such close proximity to eachother, they're basically family. The cultures of the Slavic/Baltic states are polar opposite from Islamic culture, and they're not even located near each other. Syrians and others have plenty of other muslim countries to choose from, but instead they are now insulting these European countries and comparing the tragedies, and throwing backlash against the media for reporting on it. Of course the media is going to report on this, of course it's going to be #1 news, IT JUST STARTED!!! The Syrian and Palestinian wars have been going on for how long? Seeing the insensitive and hateful comments from Syrian refugees and other muslims and their allies towards the Ukrainians and Slav states, it's actually a good thing that they dodged a bullet and shut their doors to them. Who knew there was so much hostility and contempt in these people...oh wait, their religion literally teaches them to hate Christians/Jews. And, this is war in Europe, in a first world free democratic sovereign country, that was peaceful and minding their own business and completely unprovoked, obviously it will be more relatable and devastating to the western world. The western world is a melting pot, there are people from all races living in it. It's not about white vs. brown/black, it's about freedom and peace. The atrocities committed in Syria and Afghanistan and the whole middle east and Africa is deplorable and the perpetrators should be held accountable, but let's be honest here, it's frankly "old news", just like American mass shootings are old news, it happens again and again and again, you think every shooting in America is getting huge news coverage? No, it's not. People start to lose count, and lose hope for any resolution, and must go on with their lives at some point.

Respect to People of Poland...Ukraine is lucky to have you as their neighbors. At least in one aspect Russia is better than US and Israel, it is allowing civilian to move out by declaring ceasefire and corridors. But it was not the case when US attacked Iraq, Afghanistan and Israel attacks Palestine 😓

Khalid, sorry to disappoint you. There have been over a dozen cases of Russians shelling and firing guns at civilians escaping via those corridors. If you manage to escape, it's IN SPITE of the Russians, not thanks to them. In fact, one corridor was mined... They're committing war crimes.

@@johnnyenglish583 I am already much disappointed to see Europe's approval of invading Iraq by US in the name of security (a country thousand miles away...) but blames Russia when it invades Ukraine on its boarder to ensure security. @@khalidbangladesh3479 Ukraine has not attacked Russia, so "the right to defend" can't be invoked by Russia. Yesterday, Russian planes bombed a maternity hospital full of mothers and children. Russian troops regularly fire at civilian corridors and bomb residential areas where no troops are deployed. Russia is the aggressor. I understand why you don't like the US and I sympathise with your feelings. But, please, remain objective. Ukraine hasn't attacked Russia. Don't believe Russian propaganda that "Ukraine was a threat to Russia". How can a country of 40 million (Ukraine) be a threat to a global, nuclear superpower of 150 million? It's laughable.
@khalidbangladesh3479
@khalidbangladesh3479 2 жыл бұрын
@@johnnyenglish583 Did Iraq attack US? You consider kids throwing rocks in Palestine are terrorists and people with Molotov cocktails in Ukraine are freedom fighters. The West must learn to condemn every invasion and unjustified war in equal terms. I personally find Putin's excuse more valid than that used by US and Israel in their invasion. What do you think US would do if Russia puts its missile system at Mexico? Obviously Europe would then unanimously support any US invasion like it has done before. Ukraine became a threat to Russia only when it wanted to become a NATO member lead by USA. NATO has Article 5, you have to be objective... USA, Russia and China are three superpower of today's world. They all are doing some bad things in one way or another. But each of them must spare others some personal space for the safety of the entire world. USA or NATO must not topple the balance, I hope you understand. See what happens when they do not maintain the balance...innocent people of Ukraine are suffering and dying!

What a stupid comment. They are indeed real refugees, but the Middle East migrants were not mostly men for no reason. ▪️These are genuine refugees. Their country is next door and Poland is obliged to help them. Just like how Turkey, Jordan, and Lebanon hosted millions of their neighbours, Syrian refugees. ➕The wave to Europe by Syrians was for better economic situations. (A tiny country like Lebanon had their population increased by 25%. One of every four was a refugee) Men went Europe to find work and then arrange for their families who live in refugee camps to join him. So no. Syrian men didn't left their women in war zones Remember when Poland was against hosting migrants who the EU allocated for them!
