I'm excited to release this new video for you all to watch and enjoy! The editing for this video took forever, so hopefully it is worth it for everyone to learn from and see just how much is out there for our FJ Cruisers, and I'm sure there are more that I missed in all my searching!
I am a moderator/member on the FJCruiserForums.com and originally made an updated version of the front bumper comparison thread back in 2013. At the time, the existing bumper thread had outdated information, broken picture links, and other issues. So I stepped forward and threw together the NEW complete front bumper comparison thread.

I decided it was time to do something similar and make this video as a way of documenting every FJ Cruiser bumper I could find since as more time goes by, photos online disappear and it gets harder and harder to find information about discontinued bumpers or products. In my research for this video, not only did I use the bumpers listed or formerly listed in that bumper comparison thread, but I also discovered many many many more bumpers out there from around the globe! Where ever FJs are, people are making sweet bumpers to put on them and they look great!

Here are some helpful time stamps to navigate around the main 3 sections of the video: 0:08 - Bumpers still in production 14:37 - Custom or Unknown Bumpers 16:57 - Discontinued Bumpers I’m sure there are more bumpers out there or perhaps a specific bumper is in the wrong “section” of the video but the amount of editing and research time that went into this video was incredibly high, so hopefully you enjoy what IS there vs dwelling on what ISN’T. And even though I like the background music added to the video, if you’re not a fan, simply mute it as it doesn’t add anything to the video. Holy crap! What a tremendous amount of work. Just a smorgasbord of creativity. Loved so many of them but, even after seeing all the options, I still love my Trailworx Fab.

Thanks! Yeah in the early days of the FJ, tube bumpers were all the rage, especially forerunner style tube bumpers, plus they were easier to manufacture. Then as time went on we got all these different styles of plate bumpers. But it is funny just how many versions of the ARB-style bull bar there are in the world haha

Love my FJ and enjoyed the video but one thing I learned is some people shouldn’t be allowed to design nothing. Some of these bumpers looked simply awful and like they were built by a blind person lol. Anyways great video and great amount of work you put into this. I’m considering the Ironman4x4 bumper similar to your ARB.

Awesome! Yeah the Ironman 4x4 bumper does seem to be similarly designed to the ARB one but with some slight improvements that make it a great choice if you like that bumper design. I got to chat with a representative from Ironman 4x4 at FJ Summit one year and he was telling me all about it and it really sounded great!

@@lyric.kayden great question, so for me personally I just was never a huge fan of the "look" of an ARB bumper, it didnt fit my style and it almost felt like it dated the FJ and made it seem old since ARB has been around for so long and their bumper designs are pretty much just copy and paste for every model of vehicle, so i wanted something newer, more aggressive, and lower profile since the ARB bumper sticks out pretty far relative to the bumper I ended up going to, a Demello Offroad one.

@@FJX2000_Productions ahh ok that makes sense. Totally understand. Yeah I myself have appreciated that old school look since the FJ is kind of retro old school look. But again totally understand your reasons 100%. I’ve always been about that old school Land Cruiser and LR Defender style lol. Awesome videos and keep up the great work.

I have the trail-gear off-road tube bumper with the big stinger & winch at 21:22. It came on the fj when I bought it last month. Not sure if I am going to keep it on or change it out for something else. The weird coincidence is, is that I had put the same bumper on my Tacoma 7 years ago with a slight variation with the part around the lights. Obviously a vehicle specific variation. Anyway thanks for making this video so I know all the options out there if I decide to swap it out eventually.

Well you missed one. My 07 is running a, steel, WARN front bumper which has a opening to accommodate the WARN 9000 Winch / Air Compressor. Im sure its obsolete now, the matching rear bumper is still available.

What kind of vehicle is at 4:24? It does not resemble an FJ

It is just an FJ Cruiser with the aftermarket Land Rover style grill and headlights. I’m personally not a fan but lots of folks run them and like the more modern look 🤷♂️
