Cryptor's probably my favorite Ninjago villain, he's an unstoppable ninja terminator who flattens the team each time they go against him. I wish they did more with Cryptor and Zane's rivalry, and more with the nindroids in general. It's not like Rebooted has any redundant plot points they should have scrapped to make room for Zane's important character development......

If they were going to rebuild a previously destroyed nindroid Zane villain for the Crystal Council anyway, they should've used the chance to return Cryptor instead

That would be super cool if that were the case. I also heard that he was originally intended to be Echo Zane.

My theory is also that Mr.E has Cryptor's hardware but a little programmed to make perfect cuts

Just a thought But Cryptor is based on Zane's Schematics right. So in a sense. Cryptor is basically Zane's Younger brother

I’d recommend doing the overlord honestly, a big project to be fair but not as big as garmadon would be and the fading interest in crystallized means it might be a decent time to get it out of the way instead of waiting to do the overlord a long time after he’s lost his traction

@@OverLloydchalk it up to the Overlord? Since he has been shown in an energy-soul like form before, it’s possible every Nindroid technically had a soul or at least Cryptor did

The white one is actually the successor to cryptor so they aren’t the same nindroid. Basically the good version of him.

Strange how he didn’t return in crystalize he’s a robot so his consciousness can just be downloaded and transferred you’d think when one of your nindroid troops displays sentience you’d think to keep him alive for the future

But at the end of rebooted he froze by zanes ice explosion and then shattered basicly there's nothing left of his code to recover

Great video, but you forgot about General Cryptor and the Nindroids in Skybound, which showed them as white versions and guards to the vault in Hiroshi's Labyrinth.

my bad the white nindroid was actually the successor to general cryptor. basically the good version of cryptor who protected special artifacts for cyrus borg. hope this helps!
