The real reason for Impact's decline after 2012 or so was due to someone not seen in this video - Vince Russo. He was the reason TNA lost their deal with Spike TV. It had nothing to do with Hogan or Bischoff.

Even though Sting should be a great hero in stopping Immortal and saving TNA from their clutches, I’m truly grateful for former president Dixie Carter that she had to take the ultimate responsibility of allowing things to happen for Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff to form their own group and rule over TNA as a company, for she never knew trusting those people she believed in could lead to her downfall.

Had nothing to do with it. Eric and Hulk were great in TNA. Dixie was the problem, not them. This is backed up by former employees, such as Velvet Sky.

Totally false. Eric and Hulk were never the problem. It has been confirmed by former employees of TNA (such as Velvet Sky) that Dixie was the cause of their downfall. She got too greedy and self absorbed. The tipping point was allowing AJ Styles to leave. Also going behind Spike TV's back and working with Russo, who Spike TV were strongly against, was the reason they lost their TV deal.

I actually enjoyed the Immortal storyline but it seemed to lost direction after the Jeff Hardy incident at Victory Road. It started out strong and really liked the whole AntiChrist gimmick and persona and it had so much potential, but sadly it was short lived. Also, I liked how Sting was used in this angle. He was presented as a HEEL when he was actually a FACE, because he got suspicious behind the agenda of Hogan & Bischoff for plotting to steal Carter's company.
