Growing up a wrestling fan in a tight family, bend'ems were a must. My poor Shawn Michaels figure had a legendary run as champion against my entire roster. The "bend" part was almost false advertisement. You couldn't bend the arms past so far without tearing them over time. My British Bulldog eventually lost his arm and I threw him away like a dumb kid.

Till this very day I thought the begining of X-Pac's theme was saying "UU X-PAAAAAC! (X-PAC!)" I had no idea it was saying "Make Some Noise! (X-PAC!)" In Fact, no, forget that. It says "UU X-PAAAAAC!" because that's how it's been in my head for over 20 years.

So I listened when it dropped last night and then watched this morning. Great job guys! Thank you! I have lots of memories from these things as a kid in the 90s. I had the purple Bret and HATED it as he was my favorite wrestler and the attire color was wrong. I was today’s years old when I learned they actually made him in pink.

It's great that you did a Bend-Ems episode because when I won my Hunt World Heavyweight Championship one of my tag partners who was working a con with Al Snow hooked me up with a Al Snow signed Bend-Em MOC. They were working with him on his Comic Book when it came out. Great story btw. Highly recommend the Ballad of Al Snow and Head.

Great video!!! I feel like this line of WWF figures goes unappreciated these days and they might have even been underappreciated when they came out. My brother and I grew up with the Hasbros which we loved so it was kind of bittersweet when these essentially replaced them in stores. Looking back now, these did such a great job bridging that gap for us between Hasbros and the BCA figures from Jakks. They also did a decent job mixing in with your Hasbros in terms of overall scale, so to finally have guys like Diesel/USA Lex/Mabel was such a welcome addition for the figure fed we had. It was even vindicating to own a 1-2-3 Kid as we NEVER saw any on the green cards here in NJ. I think they could've done without the super cartoony smiles that were a staple of the first few lines, but they eventually fixed that which made these even better moving forward in my opinion although it is those first few waves that hold the most nostalgia these days. Hard to believe this line lasted as long as it did. It doesn't get nearly as much recognition as the Hasbros or LJNs, but somehow had a longer production run than both of those. Great memories with these figures as a kid. Thanks for the deep dive. Merry Christmas!!! 🍻

It's hard to underrate bends, because they tend to have no play value, and most have poor sculpts and paint application, so it isn't too hard to believe that decent ones don't get much credit.

When he comes back, little Timmy is excited and reaches into the toybox again and oh no, Nash is out again with another blown quad...

Just grabbed a Vince since he just retired I had to get his. I also just grabbed a diesel since it was his 1st figure I had to grab it! Thank you guys for that info! I would not have known otherwise. The packaging could be better but it's fine and the figure is fine so it is what it is. I'm hopefully going to get them all eventually. That's the plan anyway. And I got a couple stone colds on the way. One is new in the bag and the other is one they give to the distributor before they are released to sell. Thought that was pretty cool. Awesome job guys thanks for this amazing video! Lots of neat info and stuff I didn't know about

Actually there's a segment in May '95 where Sid attacks Razor on Raw, and he was wearing those blue tights (with blue kneepads, but black boots).

Not too attached to bendems, only ever had the jeans Austin, Vince, Shane, & Rikishi. But this was still awesome to watch. Maybe next year do a Part 1 of Jakks Ruthless Aggression?🤔 or release multiple videos on Christmas 2022 to cover the whole series?

Didn’t realize you guys were doing a Pillman! That’s awesome. Technically Perfect and Rude would fit the line . Both as managers/announcers at the time. Dean Douglas, Body Donna Skip, Hakushi, Bundy, IRS, Supreme fighting Kama, Waylon Mercy, Mo would all fit too

Hey yall ! Yall left out WWF Bendies from 80's i had some as a kid n over last 9 yrs i been recollecting figs i got a Nikoli Volkoff w/ Russian hat he wore n also a bendie King Kong Bundy .And i recall having George the Animal w/ green tounge hanging out i use to wrestle them with G.I. Joes i had back n 80s.
