Because we all have way too much free time right now: The Rocky Gervais Show with Rocky Gervais, Karl Pilkingstone, and Stoneven Merchant. Rocky: So Karl, what are some of your predictions for the future? Karl: Well, I reckon, right? That one day, we won't have to use our legs to move our cars. Rocky: What do you mean? How would we do that? Karl: Well I dunno but... it's just daft innit? Stoneven: What's daft? Karl: Well uh, you know. We're just runnin everywhere right now, aren't we? Rocky: *Screeching laugh in background* Stoneven: What do you mean, you stupid Cavemanc!? Of course we're not, we're in cars you idiot, they have wheels so we can go faster! Karl: Yeah but... Wouldn't it be good if we just had the wheels instead of 'avin to flap our legs an'all? Rocky and Stoneven: *Laughter* Rocky: I love that! He's so lazy, he wants cars that can move themselves, so he doesn't have to "flap his legs" to get his perfectly round boulder head to work in the morning! Go on then, give us another prediction. Karl: ...Dinosaurs. Rocky: ...right? What about 'em? Karl: Get rid of' em. Don't need 'em. Stoneven: *Sigh* Rocky: You idiot. Oh you know, they're only our greatest asset and we use them for bloody everything. Stoneven: Nah, "don't need em! Get rid of them!" Karl: Well I just mean like, they're dangerous aren't they. I don't want to live in a world where me alarm clock'll eat me if I don't get up on time. Rocky and Stoneven: *Hyena Laughter*

0:34 Her name is Judith Marshall. I Googled her and she was quite a woman! She’s passed away now, god bless her, but she worked at the NHM for decades and had insects named after her and all that sort of thing. And then, she talks to Karly Pilkboys on my very favourite ‘DWNE’ about cockroaches! 🪳 I love her voice and have to play along and ‘be her’ every time I hear it.

There are new revelations about the Rat in the Study at 43:00. Essentially the theory is invalidated because the rat was in an environment where it had nothing else with which to occupy it's time BUT to hit the lever. It was in a box with nothing but a lever and few other things. Rats in nature do not show this same compulsion toward drug addiction. Give em emothing to do, like listen to Karl Blather on all day :)

It's kind of annoying because I listen to these when im driving and it sucks when im on my way and the same video I just watched on bald mank shows up. I think and this is a theory all these channels are owned by the same person. It's an easy way to make money on youtube because he doesn't have to edit or anything. Actually I might try this out because you can make at least 250-500 a month doing this.

You absolutely cannot sense when other people look at you. If you could, that sense would be going off constantly when you're in public. You can hear or feel or see something which causes you to look around and notice someone looking at you, but there's no sensor in your brain which detects the sightlines of other people

Karl is right about us having more or potentially more senses. Sharks has an extra sense. Learn about that Ricky and Steve! Karl Pilkington for president 💭🌹🎡🙏
@KirkWilson86

IMO, what Karl means by an extra sense is called intuition, which is more conceptual, rather than hearing, seeing, feeling, etc. I may be wrong though..

and what extra sense would that be? The ability to see ghosts? Karl was talking about instinct but called it the 6th sense. That's not how senses work now how it's defined. We receive information through 5 means: sight, smell, feel, sound, taste. Then the brain receives that information and interprets it. there is no evidence of the ability to receive information through any other means. Sharks have the ability to sense electric currents in the water. Idk how this is supposed to relate to humans at all. Sounds a bit egocentric. " If sharks have an extra sense, we must have one too!" That's not how the world works.
