I loved the Legacy of Goku games! The first one was definitely rough but as a kid I tried to like it and of course we got LoG2 and Buu's Fury after to make up for it. They were more or less what I wanted from my DBZ games and thankfully Kakarot came to deliver the full picture. Still would love to get another LoG game though. Had a lot of fun memories with the series

i bought legacy of goku long before i even had a gba. i would just excitedly read the back of the box, the booklet, and hold the cartridge in my hands while imagining how fun and fascinating the game would be. I finally got a gba for xmas and was off to the races. I didn’t have the perspective to realize just how bad the game sucked because i barely had video games growing up and i was just happy to be consuming dbz media. It took me LITERAL MONTHS to beat this game because i couldn’t find the final orb hidden in the namekian temple and ended up grinding goku to max level (25) before finally fighting frieza.

Legacy of Goku was my first experience with buyer's remorse too. Also my first experience with trading in far too many games for far too little store credit because I was a broke child. I don't even want to remember what/how many classic SNES games I got rid of because of I couldn't resist the temptation of the first Dragon Ball game I had ever seen in person!

This channel is so damn good. Edit: there is a rom hack of Buu's Fury that increases the difficulty a LOT. it's called "Buu's Fury the hard way". It's not perfect, but it's interesting playing the game again with more challenge.

As a kid I loved the everloving hell out of Buu’s Fury, I didn’t even know what I was doing most of the time I just loved playing it despite sucking at it.

My first legacy of goku game was on my game boy, It was Legacy of Goku 2. Then I played Buu's Fury on an emulator. I only tried the first game out once but I didn't really like it.. The dbz game I loved the most besides Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury on the game boy has to be Supersonic Warriors. Even though the game didn't have too much to offer, it was still very good! The story mode has a what if timeline for every character where they are the main character. My favorite has to be Piccolo's.

Now do the Wii exclusive "Dragonball: revenge of king piccolo" game

I always used the invincibility cheat for LoG1, and even then it's still a slog to get thru. I always dread the Dino egg section when I replay LoG2, wtf were they thinking?? It's weird, Goku has the exact same sprites in both games but it somehow looks better in 2. I actually prefer Buus furys opening. I think it gets you in the action quicker and is just more fun.

Dragon Ball advanced adventure is the best dragon ball game ever.

I saved money, traded in basically my entire GBC collection [2 out of all 3 games] & still needed a little extra from my dad. But I left with a brand new copy of _Legacy of Goku_ & the Prima strategy guide. And I _LOVED_ it so much! Then _Legacy of Goku II_ came out. That opened my eyes to just how terrible the 1st game really was🤣 [Actually, I don't think I've ever beaten it w/o invincibility] I still wish they'd remake them. Refine the gameplay of _Buu's Fury_ keep a similar artstyle & just redo the whole series❤

It's really surprising how legacy of Goku went from being one of the worst ever games on gba to legacy of Goku 2, being one of the best games on gba, the studio really proved themselves. Tbh not just gba, legacy of Goku 2 for me is one of the best games of all time, being on gba, it had so much to offer ,easily in my top 3 DBZ games of all time
