My take on the outbreak itself is that: 1) Yes, it's PO-X, that caused an outbreak (after reading papers from medical clinics I saw that symptoms include bloody eyes and mouth, which is exactly what we have on some models). 2) Chedaki weren't destroyed after a civil war and cooperated with Russians how to restore their goals. 3) Presence of PO-X grenade cartridges and glass vials could mean that they were planning something more organised. 4) But when covertly transporting this PO-X in a ship they've accidentally crashed it, to which the first to respond were unprepared emergency services, which contracted PO-X, later turning into zombies. 5) PO-X for some reason was also bloodborne, because we can clearly see on some soldiers, police officers and hikers marks after scratching. 6) The first towns to burst into chaos were Berezino and Krasnostav. 7) Krasnostav airfield was used in evacing the infected people to other medical centres around the globe. 8) State of emergency was issued, military and other important branches created evac sites. Meanwhile Chernarus made an agreement with Chedaki that they'll have their representation in goverment for helping out. 9) Civilians were trying to evac themselves via highways and mountain passes and evacuation was rather coordinated until a moment zombies burst through the defenses. How it was I'll explain later. 10) Now this is from mod itself. You remember Green Mountain message containing coordinates of deerstands? Well, consolidation went rather poorly, so they've started securing a little pocket in the west on a line of Pavlovo, possibly Kamenka (to deliver goods and evac anything else), Kozlovka, Pulkovo, Rogovo, Kabanino, NWAF, Lopatino, Pustoshka and Myshkino. Alternatively it was extended all the way up north to Grozovoy Pass. 11) Also some theories say that Green Mountain was used to lure refugees into firing squads to kill men before they'd pose infection danger. 12) Probably Chedaki and Russians weren't satisfied with those goals and blatantly invaded Chernarus. Convoy near Krasnoye however was destroyed by something or Chernarussians, but I don't have any idea how as most likely military would have evacced to a pocket or Tisy, especially with antitank weapons. Unless they were stopped by Russians while evaccing to a point of resistance. 13) Invasion disorganized Chernarus even more, so that CDF couldn't hold out a line and the same Chedakis that helped CDF in containing a virus were actually saboteurs and in the act of banditry Auschwitzed Pavlovo military base to prevent evacuation. 14) Defensive lines collapsed and zombies started swarming highway roadblocks, which resulted in disorganized evacuation, probably couple of civilians shot to maintain order and later down the line a complete collapse of Chernarus. Meanwhile about a Yellow King: My guess is that it's actually Andrey Lopotev from Arma 2. He used underground passages to survive and carry out his PO-X experiments with Russians, gave out orders to the loyal Chedakis to gas Pavlovo and later on would escape Chernarus to find a new life in Livonia. Meanwhile he used a yellow motorbike helmet, so that no normal authorities would recognize him.

1. Dayz need quadbikes, bikes, buses, tractors, boats, helis and planes - its time to stop running. 2. Dayz need make more scarier, like ambient sounds, sirens, sos radio signals, zombie hordes, zombies can break the doors.. the posibilites are endless ❤️

Your lore is not fully correct, you mentioned the gas being apart of the outbreak and what’s creating the zombies. That’s not true. When you first play dayz and wash up on the coast the man on the radio explained that we are one of the lucky “immune” ones to the virus/out break. So if that gas is what causes the zombies in the first place we should then be immune to that as well, which we are not. How did you not think of this while making your video ? I’m just about half way through it now. Also the laggy helicopter gameplay. Why In the world would you put that in the background!? It’s terrible to watch.

i have my point of view about the DayZ lore (patch 1.21). It also includes facts from Arma:Contact DLC (the alien roots can be found in Livonia bunker, and contact also has a lot of similarities wth Namalsk and DayZ itself) and Namalsk (since the creator of this map is also a dayz dev and the devs themselves said that namalsk could become an official DayZ DLC). Also im not going to include the Arma 2 part since it was mostly explained in the video (by itself Arma 2 only explanatins the lore of Chernarus but not the story of DayZ). Furthermore everything that will be said about Namask are taken from the in game documents and from the Sumrak himself. I think its kinda silly to just limit yourself to arma 2 that doesn't even give answers about outbreak and then create an answers to it from the air lol. The events of DayZ start before the Arma 2, on archipelago Namalsk in early 2000's. Project "Athena" began its research under some shady and private organization NAC "Namask Corporation". The Russian government was worried about how close NAC was doing it's experiments to the Russian borders. NAC had a very good security because sooner or later they would have to fight the Russian government. The main reason behind project "Athena" is to research the unknown root system that was growing under Namalsk and create an artificial portal. Durning that time the root system did not pose as any biological threat and NAC knew that it was a device, or more specifically a transmitter of some sort, it also emitted weak x-ray (neutrino) radiation that was mention in Contact. In result of NAC launching their research, the Russian government wanted to start moving people from Vorkuta, but most of the population refused which allowed NAC to hire more people in their security service. In the 2003, Namalsk infrastructure began to stabilize and in 2008 project "Athena" had Athena-1, Athena-2 and Athena-3 as research facilities. Facility A-1 was connected to the root system, A-2 was assisting facility A-1, object A-3 was the most isolated and the most secret facility of them all and served as a complex where top secret research was taking place. In april of 2011, Russia completely lost the connection with Namalsk. Other countries also began to express their worries about Namalsk experiments and NAC began to hide their investors and investment which did not do any good to their relation with Russia, which Moscow took as a provocation. On the second of June, 2011 - Namalsk reinforced their security even more because of the Russian invasion that most likely will take place. Object A-1 at that time was ready to be used to protect Namalsk and their scientific research. On July 9th Russians invaded Namalsk and took the northern island to establish surveillance of the southern islands. On July 10th NAC we're ready to use A-1 to repel the Russian attack by using a EVR-Strom. At the 6:14 NAC used A-1 in offencive which created a huge blackout at Bering sea area they made Russian retreat by having extremely high casualties on both sides. On the next day NATO joins the conflicts by attacking the A-1 facility and later a rocket struck the same site from the SKAT-12 Russia submarine. On July 12 US assault troops landed at object A-2 but we're taken prisoner. Later the same day Russain and NATO forces decided to leave the archipelago, butin result of NAC declining to stop their research at 7:47 a nuclear ballistic missle was lauched from the SKAT-12 aimed at the Athena-1 facility. The NAC personal was ready to create what they've been trying to do all those years and created a portal that absorbed most of the nuclear warhead energy and sent it to the unknown before planet - "Latvia". They sent the energy in the world of the aliens the same ones that created the roots NAC been researching this whole time. The energy that wasn't absorbed by the portal was enough to destroy the whole complex that was located under A-1 facility, but that did not stopped NAC to abandon their research in A-2 and A-3. Durning next week Russian forces did took the remaining facilities but on 21st of July they were driven off Namalsk by the unknown organization. After those unforeseen events it was clarified that the organization CSAT was the main investor of the NAC, either CSAT were just using NAT as a cover up (since NAC is classified as sub-organization). In the whole world CSAT was viewed mostly as a hostile organization and NATO with Russia had mostly the same opinion on it, and at that point it wasn't really a secret that CSAT had a really strong interest in the root systems for the unknown reasons. Later CSAT took over the root core on Namalsk and continued their research. Aftee next few months unknown space object was spotted within the solar system and was heading towards earth, after flying very closely near the earth the alien ship detached it's capsules and sent it toward earth. The capsules landed at the root system core in Guangxin, China, killing millions. On the same day there been numerous reports about very dangerous airborne virus. The roots system absorbed the virus and began to distribute it to the other 10 root cores, next core happened to be under Namalsk. After researching the virus NAC gave it a name - "VEGA-7", unfortunately most of the residents and scientific personal did not survive. The third core was located either in Siberia or Chernarus. The forth core was located in the Livonia, but during that time in the Livonia's bunker was created a gas which is able to destroy the whole virus structure and affect the roots negatively. (There's happen to be a theory about the virus existence from the same moment aliens planted the root seeds within the earth, but that virus was completely safe for humans and did nothing but to search for the weak spots in our body for the actual VEGA-7. Which makes sense since the character we play as in dayz is immune to it)

Really good theory, and might be right. But well never know until they officially tell us. If we look at livonia aswell, they have Zombies so Chemical Weapons have been used there also. So Russia been having war on many fronts, if we take Namalsk aswell could be the finnish border or russia-greenland one.
