It supposedly got through the writing, staging, storyboarding, executive approval, directing, voice acting and editing stages right through to the mixer (AKA the stage immediately before it's given to Nick for broadcast) and no-one thought "uh, what the fuck?!" Like, there's this implication that Roger Bumpass wouldn't be asking "uh voice director? Why is my character about to kill himself?" It's supposed to be stupid but the idea is just hilarious.

What's funny is Gregory's Room wasn't actually originally a Lost Episode Creepypasta. The footage in the video was actually just an odd video created by Seinfeldspitstain, who created The Jimmy Neutron Happy Family Happy Hour, he created bizarre, creepy yet funny videos like Surreal Entertainment, Pamitri and Cyber 8. Someone just slapped a Creepypasta story on the footage. He eventually left YT but it's nice to see his works still alive and relevant in 2022.

The Invader Zim episode "10 minutes to doom" actually was an episode that was supposed to air as the season finale, I love when lost episode creepypastas turn out to be actual things that exist

Gonna be honest, the Hetalia one kinda caught me off-guard. I just wasn't expecting it, so it was a bit more funny than it was creepy.

Man, something just hit me about the Seinfeld one - I realized these are basically all animated, because on an animated show, you can draw whatever freaky stuff you want, replace VA's, etc. The idea of the actual real Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, etc. getting on a soundstage to all act out some creepypasta thing is just hilarious to me.

I just deeply enjoy the notion that someone working on Spongebob got so sick of it that they went to the trouble of animating Squidward killing himself.

Agh, the "Plankton Gets Served" one had good potential at the start there. They should have said that there was dialogue cut that would be deemed "too dark" because of how Plankton airs all his grievances about his lack of success in life. Could have been a really believable story until the part where they said Plankton actually gets hit, especially since numerous characters have been run over by vehicles before and gotten right back up squash n stretch style.

'The dawn is your enemy' is my favorite one, since AS actually has acknowledged it multiple times. They actually aired one with strange audio and the sun winking at the viewer, then reposted it on instagram too. Unsettling and awesome at the same time.

As someone who grew up with In The Night Garden, hearing the “tragic backstory” was really depressing. Knowing that the kid’s own parents neglected him, even shipping him off as if he were just an object.

I remember that Hetalia one from Highschool, I remember my friends thought I was weird for being upset by it, it didn’t scare me but it upset me cause of a part of the story he didn’t mention, there’s a part where Italy wakes up while their butching him and Germany starts trying to explain and apologizing, Italy says he understands and forgives them and Germany holds his hand and watches as Italy dies while he smiles at his friends knowing him dying will keep them alive, it’s honestly kinda bittersweet cause Italy forgives and understands them and still loves them even though they killed and ate him and that kind of self sacrifice thing gets me in my feels.

I will admit, a lot of lost episode creepy pastas are kinda cliche in my opinion, but I love them nonetheless! Especially the kind that feel like you remember them happening, such as being up late at night, even though you were told to go to bed, and seeing an adult swim bumper or scary show or episode that you turned off quickly because you were so scared. I just love those types, and the eerie feeling I get is just unsettling.

The most unrealistic part of the toy story one is the team somehow getting a 48 minute 3d animation done in a week during the late 90s

Some of these just sound like completely normal, fully available episodes of Robot Chicken lol. The ones without any paranormal or illegal activity involved that is. RC may be a twisted show but you'll certainly never find an actual snuff film or real photos of dead bodies on there! Total side note but ever since I saw the Robot Chicken episode where Cinderella's fairy godmother starts summoning demons, I can no longer take any lost episode pasta that uses Satanism for shock value seriously anymore. It just reminds me of that hilarious moment lol.

So hear me out, So I know that lost episode creepypastas usually take place in the real world with someone finds it in someway somehow usually at garage sales. But imagine this: a "lost episode" creepypasta but instead of a fictional tv show episode what if instead. A man finds an old documentary about [insert real life occurrence/war/crime] watching only to learn that the [insert bad shit happening in real life on tape] and that it was far worse than what was known. Maybe Vietnam's agent orange did more than cause severe and deadly illness but also numbed the victims mind. A news reporter showing various soldiers in Fallujah being half dead half alive monsters not zombies but almost similar

The real creepypasta are the friends we made along the way.

Plankton Got Served has to be one of my personal favorite lost episode creepypastas. It utilizes disturbing imagery, but doesn't go overboard with it, making it more believable while still being somewhat unerving. Speaking of believability, the situation that lead the author to discovering it aint "oh I found it in a dumpster with pentagrams scribbled all around the place" or something, it's just a typical pre-TV lost episode that was shown before it actually aired on an official website, which is a possible scenario for really any ACTUAL lost/unedited episodes. It's got the believability of 1999, now that I think about it. Just without the legal issues.

After finishing the video (which was nothing short of excellent), I gotta say it's refreshing to see somebody be upfront with stuff that they feel isn't worth talking about. It honestly says a lot more than a recap of the associated Creepypasta could ever provide.

During the black friday incident (57:54) I was thinking that it would have been an interesting reveal if there were letters from disney demanding more edge until the reveal that nobody from disney sent them. The toy story wikipedia page says disney wanted it to be "edgier" and that there were several disastrous story reels, so it could be easily grounded in reality through that.

The most unrealistic thing about Ruby's Afternoon Snack is the fact the college animation professor disapproved of graphic or adult projects. The animation professors at my college actively rewarded students for making shit like that. One of my old roommates submitted a BDSM themed project and was praised for it.

Regarding the Gumball creepypasta, that's actually based on a joke from the show itself, where the characters find a trailer for a "lost episode" with the same title, only for it to be a video of a Chihuahua playing a saxophone. There's also a character named Sarah who literally writes Gumball fanfic

Love that this gets Episode 23.5 out of the way in the first tier. Man, that takes me back. Though I'm out of the fandom, I can't help but be a bit disappointed that the author decided not to do a plot involving some dark event in history (the major setting of the series is WW2 afterall), and just went with "ooo cannibalism, how spoopy." Like I already expect nothing from a Hetalia Creepypasta Fanfic, yet I'm still let down.

Another reason the lost Thomas the Tank Engine episode creepy pasta is bad is because it didn't mention how Ringo Starr was the voice of the narrator of the episodes at the time or describe what Ringo was forced to say in the episode. If I wrote the story, I'd have the person in the story try to contact Ringo Starr about the episode and Ringo would immediately get upset when asked about the lost episode. Ringo would and explain his experience working on that episode and give his opinion on the whole situation (including his opinion on the episode).

People dont always notice this: But the "Dark Side of Family Guy season 8" and "Plankton gets Serves" are really just jabbing at how shit the writing of Family Guy and Spongebob have gotten over the years. Creepypastas can be pretty savage Diss Tracks rather than just campfire horror stories if you know what youre doing.

I'd like to see someone make a real "lost episode" for holloween, imagine a "Help Needed" where SpongeBob goes missing one day and after him, people start disappearing every night until only Squidward is left and then the camera becomes the "Monster's" perspective about to attack him, the camera becomes black, only to right after be revealed that it was actually SpongeBob's plan to celebrate Squidward's birthday. It would be played after 5 PM randomly along side normal episodes (only one time per day)

I remember being terrified of Max And Ruby 0004 not because they look soulless but because one time me and my cousin were watching a video of it and suddenly a loud screeching noise that we thought came from the tablet pretty much traumatized us but it turns out the noise came from a toy my cousin was leaning on. But even after we found that out I was still scared of the creepypasta ever since.

I’m genuinely impressed that you not only found but recorded gameplay footage for almost ALL of these, that had to be a massive pain in the ass, respect.

My personal favourite types of lost episode Creepypastas are the ones where the piece of lost media is an original creation by the author. Stuff like candle cove, Turn the Crank, Little Witch and Jack O’Lantern and Gregory’s Room. Not only do they have a cool worldbuilding aspect to them with the author having to come up with a creepy/cursed kid show idea that could sound convincing as a real show, or some creepy short film a person might have watched once in their childhood, but I find these stories tend to be more original with their horror and scares. As unlike Creepypastas based on real, popular kid shows, the author can’t just rely on the shock value of writing well known cartoon characters getting into/doing messed up stuff, and instead have to get more creative with how they scare the reader with their original concept. Plus, I just generally love the vibe of the imagery in some of these stories since some of them (particularly, Turn the Crank) nail that vibe of obscure animated show episodes/short films you’d see as a kid that creeped you out, and can’t quite remember as an adult until you come across it again on KZfaq or something years later. Like those nation film board of Canada short films from the 70’s/80’s/90’s.

On the subject of "lost x of y" Stephen King actually wrote a story like that I've never read it myself but I did seen an adaptation made by a Canadian indy studio. The Doctor's Case is "the one story Watson never told" and is actually a really interesting mystery that uses Sherlock's cat allergy to explain why Watson has to be the one to solve the case If you like mysteries I highly recommend looking up The Doctor's Case

1. holy shit, "Half-Baked Sun Cakes"! that's my _favorite_ Lost Episode pasta of all time! i mainly love how it focuses less on gore or out-of-character moments and more on just the "wrong" feeling. it's subtle, it's sweet, and it surprised me. 2. i love how, in the "Legends of the Hidden Temple" one, they find two skeletons that look _exactly_ like the missing kids, and they're just like, "hmm, gross. now then, back to my hunch..." 3. as with any collection of Lost Episode pastas, i have to ask, what about "Love, Teddy"? it's nothing too special, it's not even really that good, but i've never seen literally anyone else mention it.

I’ve seen that Seinfeld episode. There’s a scene later in the episode where Jerry and George join a sinister cult where as part of their initiation the duo are forced to sacrifice puppies and small children. In a bit of a plot twist the Soup Nazi is the cult leader, however in this episode he runs a pet store. His punchline this time around is, "No Puppy For You!"…which would get a huge laugh from the studio audience. 😂

I'm really confused as to why The Wyoming Incident is on this iceberg. I thought it was mostly understood that it was meant to be an ARG, not just some one off Creepypasta to be compared to the likes of Ruby's Afternoon Snack and Akuryo Bubbles.

Ok so I know that this is a lost episode list or iceberg but hear me out. So the rockstar series manhunt at the end of one of game during the credits the player finds out that the VHS tapes that the snuff show that the player has been participating through were actually not made on fresh VHS tapes that were empty but that the snuff show was taped over a children's VHS show. I know this isn't lost episode related but the fact that the ending kinda meets the tropes of a lost episode pasta

Great iceberg video, as per usual from these kinds of videos! I'd also like to admit real quick that yes, I am the writer of the _Loud House: Enough Is Enough_. I made the story in the Geoshea's Lost Episodes Wiki when I didn't have a Wikia/Fandom account, so I was moreso known as "7494pinguisback20" at the time. The story basically only existed so that I could try and make a pasta that was different from the other Loud House pastas that were on the wiki back then. Five years later, I really don't like everything about what 14 year-old me did with it except for the drawing I did of the "screenshot" of a dead Lori. Now, as for whether or not I might rewrite/remaster it? ...Well, not really. I'm not much of a Loud House fan anymore, and considering what I think about where the show is at right now, I don't think the pasta is worth looking back at. Plus, the title/story of the episode hinges on the phrase Lincoln says when the generic snapping trope begins. So yeah, I'm not looking forward to remastering it. However, if a _new take_ on my pasta counts, then I would say that my vision for my new Loud House creepypasta would be about how a rather ugly, crudely-animated snuff episode with religious/lovecraftian undertones and themes had been snuck onto the air only once, only for it to never be seen again unless you searched deep enough on the internet. I liked Chuckie's mom. Chuckie's mom was pretty good too. I also read Chuckie's mom once! The joke is that Chuckie's mom was the title for the last 3 pastas. It was the peppa pig one, aristocats one, and the actual Chuckie's mom. I did actually read the last one, though. Only halfway. It was way too long for me.
