Rayla was born to Tiadrin and Lain in the Silvergrove on July 31st. As a child, she often played in the meadow outside her village and befriended the Adoraburrs. Her parents were members of the Dragonguard, an elite group of eight elven warriors chosen to protect the Dragon Prince's egg. Due to their duties, her parents entrusted her care to their close friends, Runaan and Ethari, who raised her in their stead.

Hopefully, Rayla and Callum get back together next season. It was completely pointless for them to break up in the first place.

I'm hoping in season 6 Rayla does a lot of self-reflection about her past choices and beliefs. She made her arguments for leaving Callum pretty clear but ultimately I do think her views on strength and love were misguided because I think she's misinterpreted a lot of things her role models have taught her or at least focussed too much on the aspects which support her views and conveniently ignored the aspects which challenge them.
