I respect this. I’ve watched a few of these videos, and one pro player literally said “I’m not gonna do aerial stuff yet, because you’re stupid and don’t know how to play the game” this is far more commendable. Thank you for being humble and showing us humility.

Consider that every year or so, every two years, this spectrum of skill will change and grow a bit. We would surely see different levels of play from a 2-year-old video exactly like this, and will in years to come. I'd love to see this revisited and compared, in a year or two.

The reason plat and diamond ramped up so much is because it's based off 1s rank. D1 in 1s is like c1 in 2s

I guess sometimes it does depend on what they play, if they (somehow) actually only play 1s (I respect tf out of that already) and are like Diamond 2 they could be both better or worse in 2s and 3s

It's amazing how deflated the ranks of 1s are compared to 2s and 3s. A C1 in 1s is completely different from a C1 in 2s or 3s. I say that because I float between D3/C1 in 1s and i'm C3 in 2s (solo queue)

Ist mostly 1 whole rank apart from your other ranks. If you are champ in 2s you are diamond in 1s. If you are GC in 2s you are champ in 1s. But what I also noticed is that 1s mains are 1 rank behind in 2s or 3s. It's about preference in the end.

To think, that sunless, who is very experienced in this game (and would beat me handedly), went from trolling with the lower ranks, to getting trolled on, just shows the depth of this game. After all of those hours, he still cannot compete against the top of RL players. I guess that was the point of the video, but its cool to see it in a 28 minute breakdown. Also, it makes me want to never play again 😂😂

In 2's, the lowest SSL's are at 1900 MMR and the top rated pros are at 2500 mmr. That is a ~600 MMR gap between the lowest SSL's and the top pros, which is the same gap that is between Diamond 3 (1100) and GC 3 (1700). So yea, the gap between SSL's is comparable to the gap between Diamonds and GC's lol.

I just seen thanovic do a game review of each rank. He watched a gold 1 speed break, ground dribble, ground to air dribble and tornado spins with air dribbles...never missed or messed up a speed break. Yet he really did play it off that its totally normal for a gold 1 to have these mechanics...Whats your thoughts on content creators defending smurfs or refusing to not call them out.

im been hardstuck in champ in about 5 years , i seen ppl go from gold (as tm8's) up to gc and beyond more times then i care to count(6) still as im nearing a staggering 20k hours i will not give in. somehow i will reach gc! by my own engine (so to speak) but thanks for making the long long jorney at least entertaining. cheers from a long time follower
