Felt like I couldnt learn anymore about Ninjago, seen the show 3 times, I was sure I knew everything. Then I watched this and boom. Also Amber is an artifical element? did not know that. this mustve taken a while to produce. good job mate love how theres enough little notes that it feels like your pointing out easter eggs and your setting a bunch of things up to explain the stuff further in the timeline, which duh, its a timeline but bruh you have done gods work this is sick

@@cr_r9836 Yes, technically. The most important thing to note is that this timeline is 100% fan-made, using quotes/dates in the show and some insight (tweets mostly) from the producers as sources. So some parts may be a bit off, or (in Aspheera's case) wrong altogether (she was imprisoned "thousands of years ago", not a little more than a hundred). The time system centers around the final battle, which is the end of Season 2. I highly doubt that the pilots and Seasons 1-3 all take place in the same year or two, but the characters' ages seem to line up well so it's not really a problem. What this means is that we can assume- or at least collectively headcanon- that in Dragons Rising the four "main" ninja are 27 while Nya is 25. Lloyd is a special case- most (?) people decide that the Tomorrow's Tea he got splashed with during S2 aged him about 5 years, which means that he is also 27 (physically) in DR, but (mentally and chronologically) only 22: as old as, say, Brad and Gene from Darkley's are (physically) at that point.

just a few notes (these aren’t 100% confirmed) 1. i don’t think garmadon turned evil 11 years before the final battle since wu gets way older in that short time, 2. the ninjas ages are impossible to work out but i know that kai definitely can’t be 16 due to nya appearing to be very similar in age, by type pilots she seems pretty grown already and this has always bugged me, i belive it is the biggest continuity error ninjago has ever made since

1.) Garmadon did turn evil 10-11 years before the final battle- Wu (and Garm) gets way older because Tommy said that there was a link between the two brothers,maybe the golden weapons? 2.) In the show and on twitter both sources say that Nya is two years younger than Kai

Small correction: Aspheera was imprisoned thousands of years before s11. As while Kai said that she was imprisoned for 1000 years, Aspheera mentions that she is thousands of years old and Tommy Andreasen mentioned that she was imprisoned for thousands of years instead of one thousand. Great video btw.

For the longest time i thought sons of garmadon was a reboot and Masters of Spinjitzu ended on a cliffhanger. Then in 2020 i binged all the seasons that were currently out. Im watching this cuz i have no idea what dragons rising is lol

I actually really hate the retcon that the first spinjitzu master didn’t create ninjago and that it was already a realm before he came there, there was just no point in adding that extra piece of lore and it takes away from the mysticism and power of the FSM

This is all perfect and accurate but there is one thing i dont get and never have got If Lloyd and Harumi were both kids during the first season and Lloyd became a teenager soon after... is Harumi still technically like 14 and Lloyd between 16 and 20?

How did wu age from a young adult to an old man in about 10 years if they remade this I hope that they fix this issue by making wu look the right age like wu should have a beard or something don’t say it’s because of his oni blood mystake was an old lady during hunted a her being that age makes sense because it was 5-10k years or more since she found the FSM with the omega. The age of Wu and garmadon makes no sense with them having oni blood making them age longer another thing is that we need more lore on all the elemental masters besides water and creation like maybe jay is descended from the keeper of the amulet since they have a relation to lighting. or it’s like atla where the powers came from natural origins.(atla stands for Avatar the Last Air bender and FSM stands for first spinjitzu master.) it’s just hard to not mess up already established continuity with more lore being added. Like what’s next the ice and fire elemental powers came from chima and the phoenix tribe are the ancestors of Kai and the ice powers are from chima as well?

the Omega isn't an Oni warlord, Mystake is the last Oni warlord, she killed the other two warlords, the Omega is a later leader.
