Ok so my running theory (and probably where you're going) is that when klaus did the experiment, it created the bionis in 1 pocket dimension and threw the earth (becoming alrest) into another pocket dimension, while the rest of the universe carries out as normal as the saga universe. So yeah i'm definatly of the mind that was the final scene of saga playing at the end of future redeemed and so origin recreated the earth back in the material world right as saga ended. Which interestingly would also tie in perfectly with a line in xenosaga (from chaos i think?) saying something like "the key to escape the universes destruction lies on lost jerusalem", as earth in now in the possession of origin, a machine that literally rebuilds worlds even after universal scale annihilation events. Interestingly this means that chaos was aware of what was going on in aionios, knew about origin and the fact it was gonna return to the material world, which raises a number of questions in itself That said, there is quite a few more questions that still need ironing out too. Like how does the timeline add up with both zanza and wilhelm resetting time numerous times while alrest never went through that. Also what about all the time in aionios which was atleast 1000 years, maybe a few thousand. Did that time actually pass or did it all happen in an instant when origin activated. Somehow to make this work, you gotta make all of the xenoblade games add upto the same amount of time as the xenosaga story to end at the same point You said that when klaus's experiment happened, they picked up the zohar where the earth used to be but then what about the zohar in XB2? How do you explain that being there if it was in the saga universe and where did it vanish to after the end of XB2, that still needs clearing up. For the longest time i was under the impression that the conduit went to wherever ontos was with the fog beasts given his stupid amount of power but that still doesnt quite add up if the zohar is known to be in the saga universe all that time Speaking of the fog beasts, i still dont think i really understand them at all. They're clearly meant to be the xenoblade's version of the gnosis but if that's the case, there's gonna need to be explanations on that and how ontos came to be controlling them. And then i guess if ontos controlling them would mean anything for the gnosis in the saga universe too Still not sure i understand what's up with wilhelm either. He's just this god like being who can bring people back from the dead but why? Its not like he's just controlling a simulation of the universe like Z, so how does he have Z like powers in the normal universe I've always found it interesting how alvis looks alot like chaos, you think its possible chaos was there at the rhadamanthus station and played a part in creating the aegis cores (or atleast ontos)? Also kos-mos being in xb2 has always seemed weird to me. Sure you can dismiss stuff like shulk or telos as non canon easter eggs since they're dlc, but kosmos being a blade was base game. Plus she was given cutscenes where she seemed to have direct knowledge of how the beanstalk was constructed, coupled with klaus saying "blades are the memories of all this planets former inhabitants", her being there is just peculiar. Maybe somehow she could have been a kosmos left over from one of wilhelm's universe restarts? I'm guessing after saga would come xenogears given the connections between those games. But what about xenoblade X, how does that come into it? Atm i'm really liking the theory that mira is actually another aionios created with origin seeing how its literally pieces of extinct home worlds smashed together and apparently in a space that cant be escaped from. But the backstory with earth being destroyed by an intergalactic war seems to directly contradict with saga's story of aliens not existing. The fact its called earth and has earth location names (which should be long gone from history of both bionis and alrest) is just strange. And thats not even starting on whatever the "ghosts" are

Very well done. Xenosaga is the greatest space opera, and one of the greatest stories ever told. It's a shame how few people got to play the games.

There’s also something else Zohar in multiple places at once, because it’s in the Xenoblade pocket dimension, in Xeno saga in the rest of the universe, and in Xeno gears on a planet on the edge of galaxy. It’s literally in three places at once before the emulators were made. Which means it could be at any time period Because It disappeared, from the Xenoblade pocket dimension, and reappeared in empty space in Xeno saga and exactly the same time. my theory is that time flows differently for it, because it wasn’t on earth though but yet it’s on earth in all three games. Somehow, the Zohar pretty much left earth, appeared on earth, causing it to disappear because of Klaus’s experiment, then reappeared in normal space 4000 years later.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Do you know this game Lore can be a bit confusing, when it comes to God and U-DO mainly because at first I thought it was God, then it was clarified that the Zohar is God or the consciousness inside of it. And then I assumed U-DO was same species as God, but my original theory was actually correct. It’s just a game made confusing.

Yeah, but it’s called the galaxy Federation which means they only colonized a bunch of galaxies, and colonize 500,000 worlds, right when the universe has billions or trillion of worlds that can be colonized, And that’s just a rough estimate on how big the universe is. Because I think they colonize about , half of the universe. not the whole thing. well, that’s just my head canon.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

I'm not sure how on board with the idea that Klaus exists in the Xenosaga timeline. My approach to the continuity between the different Xeno series is an evolution of universes within an eternal recurrence cycle. For example, we might call Shion an incarnation of Elly's soul. Or the progress from grotesque chimera mutations and extremely limited mechanization of humans in Gears to naturally occurring chimera properties and biomachinery through the destruction and recreation of information observed by U-DO. If this holds true, I would suspect Klaus to be an incarnation of Wilhelm, similar to how Zanza is an incarnation of Klaus and Mayneth is an incarnation of the researcher who tried to stop him. As such, Klaus presumably would not be on the same timeline as Wilhelm because Wilhelm is in an earlier, less advanced universe. I don't know if MonolithSoft is considering it a part of the Klaus arc, but even if we're to believe all Xeno games are canon (I do), I don't think one series will happen on the same set of universes as another. So Gears, Saga, Blade, and X would be the different "arcs" so to speak. The placements are distant enough that they don’t narratively lead into each other so directly. I think the assumption tends to be that 1-3 are so closely tied that all connection to past entries must be linked together with the same closeness. It's an infinite loop, we won't see every universe on it.
