To this day, I'm still friends with boys I went to infant school with. Dinas boys almost never pass each other by.

I remember staying with my aunt Sarah-Ann Cleary in concrete houses my cousin Timmy Cleary was News of the world darts champion for South Wales, her father ? Hawkins died there about 1940, I remember going there with my parents for his funeral.

Cyril, would you drop me a line please, Sarah-Ann was also my father's Aunt. It was Joseph Hawkins funeral you went to in February 1941. My Dad, Tom Hawkins, would have been 7 years old the day before Joseph, his Grandad, died on the 9th. hawknest1 at gmail dot com

My great grandparents lived in the concrete houses John Humphrey Jones and Mary Ann Jones nee Ball. They are buried in Trelaw Cemetery. My nan their daughter was Mary Jane Jones. Would love to know if anyone knew of them, if so please let me know, thanks.

my father Len Phillips was a ragbone man in Dinas , may and len lived in Tiecwm cottages

My Great grandad Johnny Israel lived with Mary before going to war and killed in action 1917 at Ypres. I think my Grandad Thomas also may have lived there....not sure
