В хиротонии участвовали их высокопреосвященства КИРИЛЛ Архиепископ Сан-Францисский и Западно-Американский, ПЕТР Архиепископ Чикагский и Средне-Американский; их преосвященства ФЕОДОСИЙ епископ Сиэттлийский, НИКОЛАЙ епископ Манхэттенский и ИОАНН епископ Наро-Фоминский.
The Consecration of His Grace IRENEI (Steenberg) Bishop of Sacramento took place at Holy Virgin Cathedral of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" on Sunday November 6, 2016. Participating in the consecration were His Eminence KYRILL Archbishop of San Francisco and Western America, His Eminence PETER Archbishop of Chicago and Mid-America, His Grace THEODOSY Bishop of Seattle, His Grace NICHOLAI Bishop of Manhattan and His Grace JOHN Bishop of Naro-Fominsk

I think he means not to trust in the earthly wisdom of human beings, but rather in the wisdom of God. The Scripture says, "Trust not in princes or in sons of men."

Hi. I have a question, as a Greek, all the way in Australia. Where or which church was this? It says this channel is ROCOR, so does this mean these people here are seperate from the main Russian Orthodox Church (P Kyril)? I'm a little confused sorry. God bless

The Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia is a church formerly separated, but now Canonically a part of, the Moscow Patriarchate. It has jurisdiction of the Russian Church abroad/outside Russia and outside of it's de jure territories (for example, Ukraine's Canonical Orthodox Church is the Metropolinate of Ukraine directly under the Moscow Patriarchate).

Hi Elly. I too am a greek Australian. This video was filmed in a Russian church a cathedral to be precise in San Fran Sisco. Saint John resides in this church where he so served and is located over the videographers right shoulder. The cathedral belongs to the rocor who are completely canonical just like any other orthodox church. I hope that helps...

ROCOR is an autonomous jurisdiction under the Russian Orthodox Church (P Kyrill). So ROCOR is in the main Russian Orthodox Church, not separated.
