itd be interesting if they cant use their keyblades. even though they're so important it would also contribute to the feel of the upcoming saga being something New and not just 'kingdom hearts 4'

Actually, maybe they can’t use the keyblade’s basic form? Maybe they are weakened as a hammer, sword, staff, etc, but are still useable in that state in Quadradum.

I really loved the ending of Re:Mind and this introduction of new concepts and ideas like unreality and fiction has me extra hyped, It’s the most Kingdom Hearts thing we’ve ever received since the KH2 secret ending.

Great Video :) Have To Agree With You 100% On Riku Befriending Yozora And Riku Telling Yozora "To Save Sora" And Later Told Sora What He Had To Do (Either Riku or Luxord?)(Man In The Car?) Maybe It's The Man In The Car Who Told Him ;) So Many Ideas, Can Be Both Riku And Luxord (Riku:Told Yozora To "Save Sora") (Luxord:A Different Course With That Thesis) :)

I can’t help but feel that someone is waiting for Sora to come back, to unleash a terrible threat just as soon as he returns to make it look like an unintended consequence of bringing Sora back from Quadratum.

I think you may on to something and it would be exciting to see Sora especially stripped of something that is almost a symbol of him. What I’m wondering, what could be akin to the keyblade in that world? Will Both Sora and Riku have the blade/bow combo like Yozora?

If keyblades are unable to be summoned in unreality, then our heroes will have to rely less and less on 'connections through hearts' and the 'power of friendship' and figure out newer ways to survive what lies beyond.

To be honest the Yozora waking up in car can just be a flashback. Versus was gonna start with that scene with Noctis in a car going to party. Luxord is back in that world even thou he was in the world of KH up to this point, so maybe this is actually teases the beginning of verum rex game, or KH4 like with KH2.

Literally such an interesting theory in both videos! I can’t get moving forward with the story off my mind and what the next games of Phase 2 shall be. I’m not sure about the five boxes in bottom row from the shot of Phase 2, but I truly hope that the last two in the top row are games to set up KH4, as I want 4 to be the beginning of Phase 3. I see Phase 2 as “The Search for Sora Saga,” where I’m hoping that the next game be a game specifically about Yozora to give us the backstory we need, and see the continuation of the Yozora and Sora fight from his perspective and understand how Sora truly ends up in Quadratum. I love your idea of Riku being the one who asked Yozora to save Sora, but I was hoping it could be some other character that has given him this task so that the final game slot for Phase 2 can be a Riku/Kairi game that allows us to see both Riku’s journey through Quadratum and whatever it holds along with allowing us to play as Kairi (which would ultimately give us the chance to stay in the main KH universe and see characters like Aqua with her trio and Roxas with his along with Mickey and his business in Scalia Ad Caelum). All of this is just a way to set up for Kingdom Hearts 4 where we finally get to play as Sora in Quadratum waking up in that puddle from the end of KH3. And then he and Riku (and maybe even Yozora) eventually find a way to connect the two universes and make that connection more “stable” I suppose is the best word. I would love for it to play this way and for it to somehow follow the timeline of Riku being the one who asked Yozora for help. Ultimately I hope we don’t move forward until we get a game focusing on Yozora to get that backstory (maybe even leading up to his connection with Sora) as I feel it’s the most crucial part missing - and we’ll come back to the black box, subject x, etc. in the game after that.

With the fact that they kinda already did a whole thing with ultimate Keyblade/X-blade/Kye-blade(called that once in BBS). I would not mind the loss of Keyblades in the other world, but I honestly don’t see that happening I more likely see them getting a temporary nerf, until keyblade wielder’s learn how to access something inside themselves, Dues Ex Machina Kingdom hearts stuff, or find a way to freely pull power from their world side. Maybe they’ll temporarily lose access to them and have to choose weapons from the other side while their until they develop the strength or discover the ability to use them when there is a group of them from their reality.

My guess is, once riku finds out he's not were sora is, he might have to contact someone in quadradum who can transport from one reality to another. Its speculation tho

So the keyblade is connected to the heart but you don’t need one to wheeled one as seen with Roxes. So you probably could wheeled on in unreality. Also considering the MoM is there and he is a keyblade wielder you probably can. But wouldn’t be surprised if Sora lost the keyblade though

Honestly the idea that light and darkness do not exist in reality 2 makes me really glad that Kairi is not going there. She is a being of light there is no telling what going into a realm without light would do to her. I mean there are other reasons I am glad she is staying in Reality KH most clearly her need to show us who she is when she isn't thinking about Sora and as such having her own arc without him. However the side of me that likes her and doesn't want to see her hurt is really glad she isn't in reality 2 which would maybe destroy her. Honestly the idea that Keyblades are not going to work in reality 2 is a very interesting one and if they go that route I really hope that they make the new powers Sora and Riku will have interesting.

My thoughts after seeing this: Riku will lose his Keyblade, or suffer a serious nerf that will land him trouble when a Gigas arrives. Sora however will be able to use a Kingdom "X" thanks to a certain someone bequeathing it to him. He'll have power to spare, at the expense of the Keychains from the previous games. Maybe a formchange that turns the Kingdom Key into the X-Blade?

This reality and un reality makes me think of the anime tsubasa, were they go to one world to another world, one reality to another reality. Each with different rules, and different magic, and different logic. One were magic exists, one were magic dosent exists. Ah if you seen tsubasa you'll know what i mean XD

I think, since Mom or the Lost Masters constructed keyblades and they draw from the heart, they will still be used. However, I think they will be drawn from the Imagination of the Heart, instead of the light or darkness of a heart. Basically, an unreality manifestation with the same effect. Mom needs keyblades to work in 'unreality" to force a Kingdom Hearts into a fiction that does not have one. Keyblades are useful in the regard. Mom, I theorize, wants to "edit" Kingdom Hearts Main Verse with Fictional verse qualities by using Kingdom hearts and alternate Final Worlds. Keyblades can be used to create a "Kingdom Hearts" on the side that is not supposed to have one. One Sky, as the saying goes. A Portal to merge them, and "edit" Darkness out.

Well light is in every hearts so if a world have no light the only light is the heart that way riku and sora can use a keyblade.

Interesting. Doesn’t yozora have a design of a crossbone and skull on his jacket but instead they’re keyblades and and crown? What if like....darkness and light are considered “enemies” in unreality, so it’s yozora’s job as commander to hunt and destroy all keyblade wielders/meddlers (MoM and possibly foretellers)?

Oooh that would be interesting. So Sora will be forced to confront the dark side of light with Yozora? Perhaps keyblade users are part of the reason why Yozora and the nameless woman ended up in their current situations. If so then the desire to beat up the MoM and Luxu will blossom within me.

Possible they cant summon their keyblades? Sure. It's also possible to bring keyblades into a place where light and dark doesn't exist. (Generally speaking in games/movies, etc.) By doing that there could be unseen ramafications.

What if Luxu got his crossbows from the technology from a life passed into the realm of unreality? Example, Yozora’s crossbows. Xigbar’s crossbow’s are the most unique weapon in the KH series so far but seem to be prototype to Yozora’s. Which makes sense considering how old he is. Besides physical weapons that can be forged or power over elemental capabilities, Xigbar’s crossbows are straight up just technology

Ok so what if they go the ff15 route where magic is tied to a crystal (or something like that) as well as have the use of machines or they go the ff7 route and have things tied to materia and machines...or the last one the ffx route...

Very interesting video. It would be very interesting if Riku was unable to use his Keyblade while in quadratum, but with the introduction of unreality, possibilities are almost literally endless. Also, the more I watch and see theories on the KH3 secret ending, I've noticed a parallel. That is, Sora is often compared to light, and the master is set up to have something sinister for the next saga, so in the KH3 secret ending, Sora could represent light and the master represent darkness. But what about Yozora? With the connections and some similarities Sora and Yozora have, and with the new revelation in melody of memory that unreality is made up of neither light nor darkness, and with Yozora being in Quadratum, I am almost certain that Yozora is supposed to the balance between light and darkness, between Sora and the master. I also think that this could mean that Sora and the master are connected and that Yozora is the key to unlocking that connection. I don't know, just a little something I've been thinking about and wanted to share. I hope you have a good night! Also, you keep getting closer and closer to 10k, it's not going to be long now! Edit: Actually, didn't you make a theory video that was similar to this? I just feel like I've heard something like this somewhere before. If you have, and you are reading this comment, could you please tell me the name of the video?

Nah I don't think that will be the case. If Hearts didn't exist in Unreality then I'd full on agree with keyblade usage being impossible. That one girl not only had one by the KH definition, but also from her story, someone who had a power to snatch hearts somehow was on the prowl if we were to go by the story she gave us. Light and Darkness I imagine are conduits of power enhancement for the heart. I don't believe such things can vanish despite a new ruleset being laid out. (Even when turned into data, their hearts hadn't changed at all.) We learned that darkness is fueled off of negative emotions, so Light could carry along in a similar sphere. So while external things like Heartless may not exist here. (Probably gonna be a chance to introduce a new enemy.) Sora and Riku's arrival there, similar to the MoM and the Foretellers should be a full package deal. What I 'would' like to see though is for deeper exploration to be made on the power of the Heart. I feel like this new arc Kingdom Hearts is going to advance in providing answers and further history to go in that subject. With many of the researchers in the series being dedicated to it's origins and the many ways to utilize it's limitless capabilities. I do have some questions of my own though! What in Unreality has the power to steal and switch hearts within people? Are there keyblade wielders causing a ruckus? Can people master the heart in unknown ways alongside the power of connections? We've seen that Xehanort was literally able to use his heart as a portal, so I can imagine there being plenty of possibilities to be utilized. Also if Luxu is to be believed in his secret report, you don't even need a keyblade to pop your heart out and hijack someone's else body or a freed vessel. A lot of my belief stems from KH1 in how they leaned towards the 'Heart' being the mightiest weapon of all. So I been waiting to see more and more ways for that to shine true up in the series.

Tinfoil hat : prolly Verum Rex is the actual Kingdom Hearts, and Scala Ad Calum is a replica made by earlier masters and they decided to seal Verum Rex inside the box so no one else can harness or abuse its powers. But MoM, being the one to dig deeper and eventually discovered it, tried to re establish Verum Rex(as the real KH) again and will subsequentially destroy "reality" and thus creating a new world devoid of light and dark.
